What is the third topic he can research for you, and how do you trigger it? The two I already know about is 'man in the past history fitting my description' and Ravel. Also, what counts as 'barely know about Godsmen', I'm just curious to see that conversation path...

... what is the second trigger for the githyanki quest? (I'm scratching my head on how else you can help the githzerai other than the mercy killing)

Cheers!

The third topic he can research is translating the language on the dodecahedron. You'd have to ask him about it after you've opened it but before you've learned the language.

Also, what counts as 'barely know about Godsmen', I'm just curious to see that conversation path...

When you join the Godsmen, the Join_Godsman variable gets set to 6. In the original game, however, you could only tell Able you were one if the Join_Godsmen variable was set to 1. The value "1" meant you'd just learned about them, such as by example just discussing the Godsmen with the guards at the Foundry gate. If you want to see the dialogue in question, you'd have to become a Godsman and then talk to Able about lots of stuff. There are also other dialogue checks for being a Dustman in his conversation, btw.

Taking Dak'kon through the Circle increments the counter, as does learning the gith language. Probably something else as well. The mercy killing is special though, that -alone- will serve to trigger it, whereas everything else just increments the counter and you need accumulated actions to trigger it.
