Well title and description say it all. I dualed my kensai to a thief ( an original concept, bet im the first one to think of it) but i cannot place more than 1 star in two weapon fighting.
I started a new game with both a bard and a thief and tried to assign points, but still one star is the limit. What gives?

Now that you mention it, i do remember that the Level One NPC mod had a component which allowed every class to put 1 point in all the fight styles ( but not into proficiencies) Im guessing thats it.
I have 20 or so mods installed, but i removed the ones i am 100 % have nothing to do with the problem, like Questpack, Ascension, Sword coast stratagems 2,fixpack etc

I am unable to reproduce this issue on my local install. One of the other mods that you are currently using must be causing this problem. The only thing I can recommend is uninstalling your other mods one by one in order to find which one is the culprit by trial and error. For starters try removing this:

BTW, the "Proper dual-wielding implementation for Thieves and Bards" component is a fairly simple tweak which only modifies a single file - weapprof.2da. Therefore, you can try doing a changelog check on that file in order to see which other mods might have altered it. In order to do that, you need to open a command prompt window in your BG2 folder and type in the following command:
After doing that, open the newly created file called change-log.txt and post its contents here.
WeiDU.exe --log nul --change-log weapprof.2da > change-log.txt

I think it could be useful anyway to know which mod messed up with RR component (yeah I know aVENGER's here and he can talk for himself, but maybe that way I'll hasten the process
