Hi everyone! :)

I have this question:
i have BG2 installed on my macintel,
the version is made with a cider port, in a way it is a windows version modified to run on Mac OS

So:
how can i install mods?
So far, mods for mac won't work, and for windows come in a .exe, wich i cannot open

Is there a way my friends?

Thanks in advance!

A lot of the ones with an .exe extension are self extracting archives - Zip files or similar. If you have some way to extract zip files, and I'm afraid I don't know anything about Macs, you should be able to use that to extract the contents rather than having them self-extract.

Back from the brink.

Like RPGs? Like Star Wars? Think combining the two would be fun? Read Darths and Droids, and discover the line "Jar Jar, you're a genius".

These, in the day when heaven was falling,
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling
And took their wages and are dead.

Hi Bluenose,
Unfortunately, there is no way of opening an exe file on mac as easily as a zip...

I am afraid to be stuck with the original game :(

Well, no not entirelly.

And on the .exe files, did you ever dropped the file over the extractor programs quick icon, as in at least in Windows, the files can be open that way with the specified program. Or you could open the extractor program and direct it to the .exe file... yes I am another Windows user.
