1. Are you looking for original art, photoshopped art or a portrait edit?
Original preferred, but if it blends in with the BG2 canon art style, anything is fine.
2. Male or female? What race, age and character class, possibly alignment?
Female human cleric, 25, Lawful Neutral.
3. Describe the character's features (face, eyes, hair, clothing, etc)
4. What color preferences do you have (skin, eyes, hair, armor, clothing, etc)?
I haven't thought much about Isobel's appearance at all, save that given the place she's from, she should look approximately North African-brown skin, black hair, dark eyes. Hair should be shoulder length, but beyond that, I'm happy to let the artist have creative license. As guidelines for her clothing, the color for a Gondar priest's ceremonial vestments is yellow, but I don't know how that would look with her skin tone, so dark green clothing, or armor, would also work-or, heck, if the artist has a really good idea for clothing color, I don't pay much attention to how my character appears.
If the artist wishes, it also wouldn't be out of place for Isobel to look like she's had a few burns, such as her eyebrows looking singed, but these would be from tiny explosions-she wouldn't have any genuine scars. Aside from being a cleric, she's an inventor, specializing in the field of chemistry, especially gunpowder.
5. Would you like a weapon, a spell effect or an item to be shown in the portrait? If so, what kind?
If the artist wishes, it wouldn't be out of place for Isobel to be depicted with an arquebus (primitive musket), but again, if the artist feels it doesn't fit, feel free to abstain.
6. What kind of a background would you like?
Artist's choice, but I'd like it to blend in with the canon BG2 portraits if possible.
7. What kind of an expression would you like the character to have? Dangerous, happy, serene, mysterious, playful, sad, etc etc?
Once again, I prefer to give the artist some free reign-looking like she's thinking hard, or just lost in thought, would work, but looking happy would also work.
8. Do you have a portrait you would like to be used as a model/reference picture (for pose, expression, looks, colors, etc...)? Post it here if you have!
Best I could do would be a zoomed-in screenshot from Guild Wars, but I'd prefer to let the artist do as they think best.
9. Should the artist post the portrait here, or PM or email it to you?
PM.
10. Any deadlines?
No. I'm learning how to mod as I go, and this could take months or longer. Real life is busy but erratic.
11. What game and what mod is this for?
Isobel Vespasian, for BG2.
