Hi, I've decided to get into this game after many years of distractions and I'm glad to see it getting the community support it deserves (like the original Fallout games) but I can't quite decide which parts of restoration and tweak mods to use.

I know some people will say I should play the game vanilla on the first go but the chances are good that I won't have time to play this game again for a very long time so I'm looking to get the fullest experience, also user interface tweaks are always good, first time or not :)

All the recommended additions in the Unfinished Business mod seem fine as they add smaller, less important things, apart from Deionarra's Truth which I get the feeling expands on something more central to the game and I'm unsure if I should install that or the Expanded Deionarra's Truth...or even whether I should use them at all

I'm also confused about the Tweak Pack, some of the options are no brainers like stackable inventory items and the banter fix but others I'm not so sure about such as Identify All Items and Maximized Hit Points per Level for TNO and Party.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

The "Scale of Souls" from the Tweak Pack is good IMO. It lets you keep track of your alignment more clearly (you get actual figures saying how lawful/chaotic and good/evil you are).

It doesn't change the difficulty of the game but it's pretty neat since your alignment changes based on your actions and you can particular benefits from a particular alignment.

Cool, I can see how that would be handy so I'll add it, what about the Expanded Deionarra's Truth mod? Will I be able to appreciate it properly on a first play?
