Ok i have to manually download some missing mods. Do i just download them and then unpack them into my BGII directory? Or do unpack them to my BGII directory and then run the mods manually?

Depends.

Download > sure.
Unpack > if the BWS already did that: yes.
> if the BWS complains about those files and you download them: no. The BWS will do the unpacking.
Installing > in most any case: no. This should be done by the BiG World Install.bat. Don't mess with installation order. If WeiDU-installers want to know what you want to install, close them unless you know you know that you don't break you installation and want to add that mod badly.
THINK! - It's not illegal.

Put them into the "BiG World Downloads" folder... and the BWS should take it from there... but you might as well unpack the files into the game folder, and if the package is a .exe, you might have to run it so it unpacks everything... but when the setup-modname.exe starts, make darn sure you won't install a thing... and you do that with the Q when it asks what you wish it do.
