EDIT: Since I was trolling around in the BGT forum when I decided to post, I didnt take into consideration that this prob isnt the thread to post this in, as it doesnt have BGT specific questions. Mods, feel free to throw this wherever it should be and I apologize for the inconvienience.

Wow, its been years since I have played my Baldurs Gate Series games, but I have been watching the modding community and their incredible efforts over the years.

The time has come to fire it all back up again, and after a month of TRYING to sort through my favorite mods and compatibilities, I have come here for some final advice.

First, here are my planned mods and install order. (For the sake of avoiding to write too much here, I will skip the actual component I wish to install. Please assume I am installing them all UNLESS I state otherwise.)

1. Clean Install Baldur's Gate Original Saga
2. Clean Install Baldur's Gate 2--TOB and latest patch.
3. Ascension v 1.4.24
4. BG2 Fixpack v 9
* Have all incompatibilities been resolved with Ascension and BG2 Fixpack? I have searched the net and read as much as I could find on it. What I found was a post that was 1-2 years old explaning that Ascension should be installed before BG2 Fixpack BUT there still would be inconsistencies in some of the dialogue. This for me is not acceptable, and I would have to choose one or the other if this is the case.
5. BGT v 1.09
a) Oversight v 13 ONLY for Tougher Sendai.
6. BG1 UB v 12
7. BG2 UB v 19
8. BG2 Tweaks v 9 w/o appropriate components.
* Unsure if BG2 UB should come before or after BG2 Tweaks?
Mods on the bubble
9. Sword Coast Stratagems
10. Sword Coast Stratagems II
11. Experience Fixer by DEF JAM v 6
Last three mods I am unsure of using. SCS changes alot of original game stuff, albeit for the better. I figure the more complicated and deep the changes are, the more chance of problems. If all my other mods can be installed without any significant problems I will probably use them.

If anyone has solutions on how to get most if not all of these mods to run NEAR perfect it would be most appreciated. Also any info into Mod install order, components that will conflict between two individual mods or if any mods make others obsolete that I dont know about.

New to the modding community with no knowledge of code or programming etc, but I can follow moderately hard instructions if need be :)

Thanks to everyone in advance that can help out.
Also a big thanks to all of you unbelievable modders and contributors doing this for virtually nothing on your own time. The things you guys do with these games are unbelievable to say the least.

Many thanks
Ryno

ps. please excuse brutal spelling and grammar...

Well, it depends on your of everything has been resolved... as the current system, doesn't have the Ascension v1.4.24 at all, but the BP-Ascension v1.80... but that has some problems when combining the BP-AI with the SCSII's AI, while they have others when they are not combined. But if you use the BWS, make darn sure that you'll use the "Further customization of your mod-settings" so you can actually choose which mods you wish to install... and the beta that's out you can use to choose individual mod components....... I'll stop here talking about the BWS...

Thanks for the reply Jarno.

BWS looks very very interesting. Reading through the massive pdf as we speak. Will post further questions in that forum.
