Hi. :)

I hope this is the right place to put this and there isn't already a topic about it, I found nothing comparable.

Ok, here's what I got:

Windows 7
The full installations of BG1 and BG2, correctly patched.

And here is what I did:

Following the installation instructions of BGT, I installed
- SoS
- TS
- Big Picture
before installing BGT!

There were no conflicts, I could start a new game in candledeep, everything worked very fine. (great work on getting the bg2 engine into bg1 btw ;-) )
When I firstly tried to enter a new area on my way to the Friendly Arm Inn, the game of course presents the worldmap to me, but I only see Athkatla! I do also see the Watchers Keep (is that the right english name of it?), but no areas from BG1 whatsoever.

I then downloaded the world map mod from this pages and installed it, now the areas of Athkatla are displayed in the wrong place (somehwere north) and still there are no map markers from BG1. I also tried going to Athkatla, which causes the game to crash.

Alright, that's that. I hope you can help me and thank you in advance for it. ;-)

Sincerely

Alright, me again. Looks like the problem is fixed!

I missed the part with "start new game or patch old save files to use the new worldmap". I did this and the markers are displayed correctly.

Before installing the worldmap mod this was not the case however, so the installation of the worldmap appears to be essential for BGT.

Sincerely

Your original problem (wrong worldmap) is frequently caused by installing the G3 BG2 Fixpack on top of BGT.
