Have been double-checking and following all instructions for BWS. All has gone fine until BWS started to install BGT about 3 hrs ago. Here's where the installer stopped (well it's still running, but not moving past this message:

##### Baldur's Gate Trilogy #####
### 0000: Baldur's Gate Trilogy - Core ###
Ready for installation
Setup-BGT.exe --noautoupdate --language 0 --skip-at-view --quick-log --args-list sp "C:\BWP\Baldur's Gate" --force-install-list 0 --logapp
[Setup-BGT.exe] WeiDU version 22900
[Setup-BGT.exe] Using scripting style "BG2"
Using Language [English]

Installing [Baldur's Gate Trilogy - Core] [1.12 (12 Jun 2011)]
Creating 1 directory
Copying 1 file ...
Copying and patching 1 file ...
Copying and patching 1 file ...
Copying 1 file ...

A google search turns up somebody who had this problem and had to 'manually enter the directory.' Unfortunately I don't know how to do that. Much thanks to anyone who can advise me about what to do here. Or -- more patience?

The googler is correct. I ran into this in the weekend, and that's how I solved it. You have the spot in the BWP interface where you already typed a few 'y' 'n' 'r' etc spots. Type the path to BG1 on your install and hit the Send Entered Text button. Things start happening right afterwards.

I took a quick look at the batch file code, and it looks like there's an external text file that's supposed to be called up to tell you about this (@89.<file>) but it definitely didn't spawn in my install run and it sounds like it isn't for others.

Thanks horred. Got everything installed last night and tried out Candlekeep.
