Trying to make a new mega-mod game. Using all the latest mod versions.
My current problem is DSotSC v2,16, Component 0, the main part does not install, but components 100 and 200 do install.
The combinations I have tried:
...BiG World InstallPack V11.1 with WeiDU.exe V23102
...BiG World InstallPack V11.1 with WeiDU.exe V23100
...BiG World InstallPack V11 with WeiDU.exe V23102
If I try a manual install, I get: SKIPPING: [DSotSC for BGT-WeiDU] This component is only relevant for BGT.
All the mods up to Dark Horizons install without problems.
Once DSotSC does not install, it messes up a lot of other mods.
Is there a fix for this problem?
Should I revert to DSotSC V2.15?
A side issue that bugs me.
Which is better to use:
1) BiG World Install.bat V11 or BiG World Install.bat V11.1
2) TobEX_BETA 0022 or TobEX_Beta 0023
3) WeiDU,exe V23100 or WeiDU.exe V23102

You need to edit install.bat and change 0 to 5.
Look here.
Like this:
%IFSD% Call %INST% DSotSC "5 100 200 400 410 420 430 440 450 460 470 480"

Why use this version? Because it has 2 kinda groundbreaking bugfixes included in it. One being a fix for stuttering that can occur in the game. And the second being a fix for the stuttering/bugs that can occur when being transformed to Drows in the Underdark. Both are vital IMO. I have this version of TobEx installed in my megamod currently but I haven't played much so i cant comment yet on it's stability.
But if you simply want to be as safe as possible, and have a known stable TobEx then I recommend v22. Never gave me any problem.

1 Use BWP 11.1 imho always use latest one.
2. TobEX 0023 (i did have 0023 but change to 0024 dll). But 0024 has stutter fix so i would choose that. Safer choise would be 0023 i guess. Or maybe not.
3. It depends on how many mods you have, expert install needs Weidu 23102. So i used 23102.

Either I am very bad at selecting words to search with or GOOGLE is very bad at searching. I have switched to Yahoo and get much more accurate results.
I have change the line in BiG World Install.bat from %IFSD% Call %INST% DSotSC "0 100 200 400 410 420 430 440 450 460 480" to %IFSD% Call %INST% DSotSC "0 100 200 480". Why is this information not in the readme-dsotsc.txt file?
I have deleted the DSotSC folder from BWP Fixpack and BWP Trimpack.
I have replaced WeiDU.exe V23102 with WeiDU.exe V23100 in the ...\BiG World Installpack\move to main folder\ folder. I do not understand why WeiDU.exe V23102 is include with BiG World Installpack V11.1 since it cautions you not to use it.
I have a copy of TobEx_Beta0024-test_120424_2.rar. I will see what happens.
Well I will create another game and see how far I get.
As to dieing, I would bet I am the oldest user of this site.

It's not in DSotSC readme because the problem is in BWP not DSotSC.
If you install expert BWP you need weidu 23102, install fails if you use 23100. Probably you don't need 23102.
