I could use some help with Near Infinity. So far I've tried pretty fruitlessly to turn Anomen into a Fighter/Watcher of Helm. I had previously used lvl1npc to just make him a regular fighter. Then I searched up Anomen in the .cre files, edited anomen12. For flags I set, original class fighter (3), for class I changed it to Fighter/Cleric (8), for kit I changed it to HELM (20) and for levels I set it to 9/10/1 (from the original 1/1/1), also to 9/1/10...but it always gives me Anomen as a level 1 fighter.

Maybe it would be easier using Shadowkeeper? Though for some reason they always end up being multiclassed rather than dualed...

Well, you just need to edit the "Kit" section of the character, it's after the sound files and "Morale Recovery" number. So it's pretty much in the middle of the whole file window, so you have to use the "elevator" to browse the file. You are using hopefully one of the newer versions of NearInfinity that shows the tag names correctly.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

I rather doubt that, I got it off the original homepage and the last update seems to be from 2003 or 2004, I guess I'll go look for a newer version, thx.

Oh wow, that was fast. In the end I just used Shadowkeeper, I don't think it applied the the proper Spheres as I can cast healing and other spells that woulnd't be in the major sphere, though I guess I'm rather glad about that as those two are some of the most important cleric spells....

If I may hijack my own thread...

Spell like HLA don't seem to work, that is, selecting them won't give me those spells as innate abilities...or add them to my spellbook. I noticed it ony my fighter/wizard (Planetar) main...and on Anomen (Circle of Law)...

Yeah, I should have checked that the installation I picked wouldn't come with Grand Mastery rather than installing it at the end, maybe that caused the problem...

Spoiler

I jgot the Celestial Fury...aka Ziggy's Katana...big disappointment...except I could upgrade it to Celestial Fury +5, which was awesome because the only drawbakc about that sword is that it couldn't touch the really tough baddies, demi-lichs, Demogorgon, that kinda stuff...and then Kuroisan (or something) came and kicked my ass. Are there any tactics that you can apply against him? Once I just ran around until he was out of magic...well, protections from Magical Weapons...and then he just teleported away. But even that time I got rid of his protections (the old fashioned way) he'd kill my main character in 10 seconds...I guess I should have gotten the improved casting speed stuff for my main character rather than the clerics...maybe buy a scroll of spellstrike, get out all the acid protection stuff...but holy shit, that dude dishes some dmg...and I think a good part self inflicted by acidic backlash.
