I'm following the recommendation of Jarno over at G3 as shown here.  When I get down to step 4, the second part, installing BGT-WeiDU 1.18 it goes a good portion of the way thru the installation and then errors out.  Since the Debug file is too large I posted it on my site here.  I also attached the file to this posting.  Any thoughts?

Also, the file tells me to post it to a non-existent web page.

setup-bgt.exe --noautoupdate --no-auto-tp2 --logapp --log bgt\bash.debug --game f:\games\black isle\baldur's gate --out area3100 --biff-get-rest ar42.*bmp ar42.*mos ar42.*wed ar42.*tis
...
BIFF may be in hard-drive CD-path [f:\games\black isle\baldur's gate/cache/DATA/TB#420.BIF]
[f:\games\black isle\baldur's gate/DATA/TB#420.BIF] 2237480 bytes, 0 files, 1 tilesets
ERROR: BIFF [f:\games\black isle\baldur's gate/DATA/TB#420.BIF] has tileset entries 0--0, cannot extract tileset at entry 0 (this BIFF and your KEY file don't match)

This error(and the rest of it's type) seems to be coming from the fact that the BG1 game is mildly modified by the Widescreen mod, while that's nice and all, the BGT-weidu needs the BG1 game folder to be unmodified...

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Ah, squashed kobold on my boot.  Okay, so I'll have to uninstall, reinstall and patch BG1. After I install BGT WeiDu can I then install the wide-screen mod?  Or how about I do everthing up to the patch and then make a copy, one for BGT and one for wide-screen?

Never mind.  Reading of BGT it seems I can run the 1600 x 1200 screen which'll suffice.  So... I shouldn't need Bigg's wide screen mod. AND, I think I'll create a directory, calling it Black Isle\Unmodded and keep the vanilla games in it.  I'll run the modded games from a Black Isle\Modded directory.  I've got a WD Velociraptor set aside just for my IE games.  What the heck, I've got terabytes of other drives if I need to back stuff up to 'em.

Now to get to work... And thank you.

Erhm, th BGT-weidu doesn't need the BG1 after the data conversion is over(which is done during the installation).

But no, the BGT needs the Widescreen mod too, as the 1600x1200 will crash to desktop.

The Weidescreen mod like all the other weidu mods(nearly all the Infinity Engine mods) will need to be installed to the game folder you wish to apply them, but as there's no restriction on where you install them, you can have 20 different installations that have different settings and work side by side, as long as they all have all their data in their own sub-folders, and you start each with their own BGMain.exe(or unique quick icon from the desktop). the baldur.exe starts a front end program, with uses the Windows registry to start the BGMain.exe in the registered game folder... with multiple installs you don't want that.
