Before replying with unhelpful or rude "advice" please read what I have to say.  Thank you.

I have a digital copy of Baldur's Gate 2 - SoA and ToB purchased through the GameStop App.  Prior to this the game worked properly, I have a clean install, and made sure to follow the pre-install instructions including patching and verifying install by creating new save games.  The issue I am having is that having installed the "Tactial" option of the MegaMod through the BWS installer successfully I now recieve an error screen which informs me that I need to place an "Expansion Disc" in "F:/" Drive.

I have no idea what is causing this since A) I purchased the entire game digitally and have NEVER had any discs and B) The publisher removed DRM from the game (this is confirmed by Bioware) and C) I followed the instructions quite well and did not encounter any problems during the setup using the BigWorld Installer.bat file.

I am aware that there are two solutions floating around out there, without being overly detailed the involve altering the "Alias" section of the .ini file and altering the install path etc.  I have also attempted to use BigWorld FixPack, which indicated that everything was in proper working order, in fact it did not indicate a single file having been altered during its run and the install was completed using the latest BigWorld installer without any "expert" mods.

My Current Alias section of the .ini looks like this:

[Alias]
HD0:=C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\
CD1:=C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English;C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD1
CD2:=C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD2;C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English;C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD2
CD3:=C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English;C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD3
CD4:=C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\English;C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD4
CD5:=C:\Program Files (x86)\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\CD5

I realize that it is under x86, however I have run BG-1 and BG-2 with expansions for well over a year along with several other "old school" games from this folder and from other folders and have never had a single issue.  Additionally, as I have indicated the BWS and other BigWorld stuff seems to indicate that my install is fine and that the game should work fine as well.  There seems to be something in one of the mods that has caused the game to behave as if it's a disc, I would like to know specifically what that might be and where, and if there is a basic edit I can do what that would be.  If there's no basic edit and it's a specific Mod causing this problem I'd like to know so that I can uninstall it.

Thanks very much.

When you say never a single issue, are you absolutely sure ? Say if you for example had you had the 4+1 CD version of the game, and installed it on any of the updated Windows Operation Systems(from XP to W8) in the C drives Program Files sub-folders, you couldn't actually update the game with the official patch...
Yeah, that won't help...

Anyways, when you install mods, make sure there's no CD/DVD/images in your non/virtual drives.
And here might be your last saving grace, no promises, but try to use it if you see no other options to get the game to work without it.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.
