Hello,

I have just finished spending all day Saturday successfully installing BG2 Soa/ToB, plus 65 additional mods.  Hooray!!!!

I was intending on posting my install list here as a helpful guide to others, but have been advised to post it using the "spoiler" technique instead of attaching my install list text file.  However, I do not know how to create a "spoiler".

Can someone please help explain what to click on, how to create, etc. a forum post "spoiler"?

Thanks.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Only 65 mods?

I wouldn't bother posting the log until you've playtested to make sure there are no mod conflicts.

Thanks for showing me how to post a spoiler.  I will try that here, to post my mods here and their install order.

The mods seemed to install properly, and my BG2 game originally looked to be functioning properly, but I have run into one rather annoying bug.

I can scroll the game screen upwards, to the right, to the left, but it won't scroll downwards at all.  Using the strategy map to re-center the screen works as a backup method, but it's not really satisfactory.  Does anyone have advice on how to correct this scrolling problem?  This is the first time I've used the wide-screen mod, since I now have a 20-inch flat screen monitor (used to have a 15-inch CRT monitor), so perhaps it might be causing trouble; I don't know enough about it to figure out on my own.

Good news!

I was able to fix my inability to scroll downwards by re-running the widescreen mod and changing the screen resolution settings.  Now I can easily scroll in any direction.  Hooray!

Have also added two more mods to the tail end of my install list: (1) the bigger fonts mod, to make the in-game text more readable when using the widescreen mod, and (2) the generalized biffing mod, to compress my override folder's contents and successfully get rid of the terrible slow, jerky, laggy movement of my characters in-game.  Have never had to biff before, even when using lots of mods, including really big ones, but what the heck - biffing now sure helped out.

Now back to restarting my game and doing more play-testing.  Looks good so far, though.

Well, there's a reason for that, cause formally all the big mods biffed themselves, but if you include the BWTweakpack(honestly it's not named that, just forgot it's name now), that attribute is removed, and so you now have to Gen_biff. This all is to remove the space warpping, erhm requisite, as biffing dozens of times a file takes dozen times the space.
