I just made a BWP install with BiG World Install.bat.

I don't want TobEx, so I don't put it in my BG2 directory (or in my computer)

However, when I run BGMain.exe, what do I see? TobEx.dll is load and it runs BG!!!!!!!

Nowhere BWP specifies that it makes a (hidden) installation of this mod/file. I search everywhere, but I don't find where this phantom file come from? And what does it really do? I play BG2 for over 20000years, and I did never require this file.

(FYI there's nothing about setup-TobEx in my weidu.log...)

Please, what do I miss about this file? Does someone have an explanation?

:WTF:

Yes, I found it: GameOverOnPartyDead and SCS contain this .dll, I 'll check their read.me/forum/whatever about this [mandatory] file

Ok, each of these mods contain a version of TobEx.dll, they can differ; last installed mod overwrites previous version I presume. So after installation, it's better to check the TobEx.dll to be sure to have your desire version...

Another surprise, every options are practically enable by default... But wait a minute, I don't want them  :wall:

I suppose I have to uncheck them after each install, ignoring if I disable options required by these mods !!!!! -- fortunately I am a coder and can learn .tp2 language...

Thanks for your reply micbaldur  :new_thumbs:

After checking  its .ini and BWPv13.pdf, I think it's safer to disactivate these options:

Blindness Fix=1 // is 0 now

Externalise Class-Race Restrictions=1   // is 0 now
