I couldn't find a sub forum specifically for BWS so posting here, let me know if there is a better place to post.

First of all, thank you so much for creating the Big World Setup.  I tend to tweak my BGT installation every playthrough, and often stop half way through because I don't like something about my setup.  BWS makes it insanely easy (if still somewhat time intensive) to restore my original installation and install a new set of mods.  I am sure many others feel the same way, but again THANKS for this fantastic tool!

Request:  It would be fantastic for anyone (like me) who frequently changes installs if their was a feature within BWS to remember/save/store your previously installed mods.  This way, if I know there is one particular mod I don't like or want to tweak, I don't have to go back through the full list checking/unchecking the setup for my normal preferences.  I never use the recommended set up (i.e. Total Happiness Plus or Standard installations) so it takes forever for me to go through and check the mods I want and don't want.  For example, I always uncheck Item Revisions component 0 because, while I like the changes made for the ring of infravision (for instance), I do not like the changes to items which set an attribute to instead provide a bonus to the attribute and some of the SoA / ToB gear changes I also don't like.

Again, this program makes it so much easier than going and getting the individual mods, figuring out the right install order, etc.  Just would be great if I could retain my most recent mod selections when I Restore my backup and go to install a new set of mods.  Thanks to anyone involved in this project again and for reading my book worth of information that I probably could have written in a couple of sentences!  :)

Actually, there's such option in BWS. You could export your mods/components selection to plain text (.ini) file and load it afterwards. In theory, it works even between BWS versions changing order/list of mods, though I'm not sure it's 100% reliable.

hmmm.  not sure how that would work, but will definitely give it a try, thanks!  I was more thinking of a button or selection in the UI so that instead of selecting 'total happiness' I could select 'last install' and then go in to modify selections based on that.  thanks again!

You can also import the WeiDU.log.
If you got the old install with the user.ini, you could also load that with the import-function.
You have to be aware that the BWS does not save descriptions, so if components get new numbers, you'll bei screwed.

Import export is done via options-menu in the selektion-screen.
