I have some problems with my current BWP installation that I would like to ask:

The low animation for some of the Duergars in Irenicus' dungeon still persist. Not that game-breaking however as it can easily be fixed by override.

Jaheira's harper plot wherein Meronia appears is broken again. I have no idea which mod made it this way, though I was able to fix it via CLUAConsole.

De'Arnise guards that spawn after the drawbridge is lowered becomes hostile when they see my main char for some reason...

There is also a problem with Samia in Firkraag's dungeon. When I see her, she is automatically an enemy (with the red circle and all) though her dialogue still fires and I still get to have her quest. I tried leaving her alive but after getting the items from the container which should trigger her to initiate her dialogue. She still does, strangely, but her friends doesn't spawn at all and her quest becomes broken.

Last time I checked, Fullplate and Packaging still was able to rework every armor in the game, modded or vanilla to fit its rules. However, items from Weimer's IWD pack remained in their original stats and still disable spell-casting instead of fullplate's chance to fail.

I planned on posting the changelog here. Unfortunately, something broke my BWP installation somewhere while it was installing. An error "cannot find Language/English Languages/ English cannot be found. Skipping..." keeps on popping up after every installation of a mod. It did installed successfully however, and I am able to play. The problem is that changelog keeps on having a parsing error with the first mod I have (ddrawfix, inclusive of my gog installation) and fails to produce any useful information on any part of BWP's installation. Here is a sample of the said error:

Spoiler

And here is my Weidu log:

Spoiler

That's all for now, thanks in advance!  :)

For Samia  - unfortunately, BP is quite very bugged, up to the point of breaking games (neutral mages casting offensive spells etc). Horred seems to have dissapeared, so they're likely to persist for a while. Samia being red-circled is one of them. The only suggestion I can give is to skip BP alltogether until the next update.

FullPlate - some "special" armor needs to be in the tp2 code. Apperantly, IWD pack items aren't. Be that as it may, you'll find         much better armors so I wouldn't bother with it.

I have said this to a few posters here: Don't let the archives weidu.exe overwrite the already existing weidu.exe in the folder if you use the change-log archive in the post, it gives this:

[WeiDU.exe] WeiDU version 22700

...and fails there after... the only thing you need to do is to copy one of the setup-*modname*.exe's and rename is as "weidu.exe", and rerun the .bat file.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

@kreso: Thanks for that info! I didn't know BP had some problems like that. I'll avoid it for now and try it again sometime when it gets support again. Does fullplate have a list of items included in its patching? I tried looking at thebiglist included in its file. It doesn't say much unless I know exactly what abbreviation each mods use.

@Imp: Alright, thanks Imp. Sorry, I don't go through much of the posts here in this section less it is something similar to my own. Well I tried what you said, and it worked. The problem now is that changelog can't seem to detect any alterations made by the mods. Is this because much of it was biffed?

It's definitely not not showing up because it was biffed, as a matter of fact biffing shows up in the change-log file too.
It could be that a different aspect of the files was changed and that won't show up in the files log cause it didn't need a change.
The creatures animation in an area is a good example, you can change the .cre file, the .are file or the .bam file. And even the more likely fact is, that the file was not patched by the Infinity Animation as the mod itself couldn't decide which patch the creature needs, or the change was not applied to yet not existing file as the file was introduced after the fact(the installation of the Inf... Anim...).

What comes to the reading of posts here, well no one needs to do all that, or more like only the small and evil creatures would insist on it, and then they scribe a large compilation of advices that they can point to ignorant people to read :Poke: read :Poke: read :Poke: whe heheheheh. :P
By the way, it intentionally made the guide out of date and by leaving the old profiles email account to the past, and then locked the thread. Ouh, and cause he is insane, it now speaks of itself on the third person and even worse, more as an artifact of an internet reality. Just as a joke. :whistling:

Oh I see... So there must be something that changed the cre in such a way that it was no longer detectable, is this what you meant? Well I still don't have the slightest idea what mod broke most of the suppose to be fixed bugs. I guess i'll have to stick with kreso's advice and see if my game becomes stable. Thanks again Imp, I'll try to see if there's any more bugs in my new installation.

I'll update my topic "kreso's reccomended BW mods" later on today (5-6 hours from now); you might find some useful info there.

@kreso: Well I already looked up your post. It was pretty helpful. Thank you very much! :)

I have one more question though, but I think it's not a BWP bug. I noticed that some spells that are level dependent don't actually cast the spell by the caster's level. Is there a way to remedy this?
