I put Venom bullets (Resource SLINGB2) into my Red-Black Ammo Belt (Resource T-BAMM02).  I went to sell them.  In the process things got messed up.

I had 10 groups of 40 in the bag.  Four were sold but the others groups got messed up.  The remaining groups switched to having 1 or 2 Venom bullets and some ended up in my inventory.  I cannot sell these as I get the message that they are "stolen items".  I cannot move them from the ammo belt.

Actually I do not care about the Venom bullets.  I just want an empty Red-Black Ammo Belt.  I tried to delete the Ammo Belt with Shadow Keeper than install a new Ammo belt with Shadow Keeper.  The trouble is that Venom bullets are still in the bag and cannot be removed.

Searched for T-BAMM02 with Windows XP and Windows 7.  Neither could find it.

All I would like to do is replace the Ammo belt with Venom bullets in it with an empty  Ammo Belt.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I guess I could also wait until I find another Ammo belt and forget about the Red-Black Ammo Belt.

Tom

Minor notes:  This game has SCS v28 in it.  Works fairly well.  Crashes when the number of characters in the action gets large.  Makes no difference if they are alive or dead.  Only real bug is that Orc mages and priests do not cast spells.

Find a item merchant that buys stolen stuff... Yes, there's special merchant just for this.
The reason why the Shadowkeeper doesn't help here is that the bag is a .sto file saved in the save game, but the editor can't open them/edit their content.

Yep, Jarno Mikkola. my Mega Mod FAQ. Use of the BWS, and how to use it(scroll down that post a bit).
OK, desert dweller, welcome to the sanity, you are free to search for the limit, it's out there, we drew it in the sand. Ouh, actually it was still snow then.. but anyways.

Hi The Imp:

Thanks for the reply.  I will go search for the merchant.

If you are near the Temple district's sewers(in Athkatla), then Roger the Fence(the (2) in the following picture)  will be one of the buyers of stolen equipment, well unless you have install a mod component that disallows all selling of stolen goods, there's one that I would remember:

In Baldur's Gate, the Thief guild merchant will buy stolen stuff.

Hi The Imp:

Well I am still in BG1.  I tried several things, but I think it is the Venom bullets that are messed up.  I will try to learn NearInfinity and see if that can help.  In the mean time, I will ignore the problem and carry the Red-Black Ammo Belt with me to use as a learning tool.
