Hello, skellytz!

 

It seems pro5's BGT adaptation of 1PP's HQ Music is no longer functioning with BGT 1.22, probably due to how the BGT_Music part has been incorporated into the main installation?

 

If I run the installer it skips the BGT install option:

 

1pp: High quality music for BGT -> Patch BGT and BGII areas to make full use of updated music (Recommended)

 

saying that;

 

BGTMusic component 2 is not installed, SONGLIST.2DA is missing required BGT/BGII song entries

 

I fear pro5 is no longer around to update this (which is a 2014 release) but perhaps updating the .tp2 to be compatible with 1.22 is a simple enough operation?

BGTMusic component 2 is not installed, SONGLIST.2DA is missing required BGT/BGII song entries

As discussed here, BGT Music will no longer be a separate installer, but a component of the core package for compatibility with Project Infinity. So, mods checking for bgtmusic.tp2 will have to be updated (eg 1PP HQ Music and Revised Battles) when v1.22 is released. We'll do it. Gwendolyne also had additional plans for 1PP HQ Music, so hopefully it will be maintained even further.

Is there enough demand for 1PP HQ Music to be officially uploaded to our GitHub and updated? If yes, I'll go through the necessary stages to get it done.

Me, for one, would like to see, that 1PP HQ Music would once again work with BGT.

Most of my projects had been put on a back burner so I could complete the file transfers and the Index of Mods. It was an arduous, energy-sapping task, so I needed a long vacation.

I hope you could enjoy some rest and relax after the long hours put into organizing files and working towards their preservation.

 

I think modding itself should be much more fun!
