Not the end of the world, but haven't seen any other posts about it yet.
Weidu fails to install the mod "out of the box" as it can't find tileconv. It's buried in a subfolder : sos/tools/tileconv/linux/tileconv (and a similar one for mac).
Solution is (of course) to copy the file to sos/tools/tileconv/ .
