Since the Sword Angel kit installer checks for the item upgrade and Ruad mods to see if any changes need to be made for the items to be able to be used properly I'll compile a list of mods that add items and may be of interest.

Check out Icelus' list of BGII mods for the download locations for each of these

Some of these are more important than others. I'd say that guarenteeing aVENGER's aPack, Banter Packs, Unfinished Business, NPC mods

Next down would be Freedom's Reign/Reign of Virtue, Sorcerer's Place Item pack, and the rest would be of lower importance.

Let me know what changes need to be made to the SP items and I'll address compatibility from my end as well.

AFAIK the Sword Angel kit component goes through each item in the mods it checks for and makes the changes needed for compatibility. Littiz would be able to tell you more of course, but this section is mostly for future reference.

If anyone knows of other mods that add items that add more than just items a specific NPC can use, chime in now and let me know. Also, if there are differing opinions on which mods are of higher import for having the sword angel kit recognize them, speak up and I can see about revising my list of recommendations.

What sort of items are important? Just weapons, anything, or what?

The sword angel must be neutral good, so weapons that disallow that alignment are not important. Mostly it is single-handed bladed weapons as well as staves. The sword angel cannot use shields or any two-handed weapon so those aren't important. I can post more details when I get a chance to look at the documents at home, but thats a general idea of what types of items are important.

I can't remember if armor is important or not, but I'd add those to the list. Basically assume the Sword Angel is a fighter with a few special item restrictions for thinking of if the item is of interest or not.

The SA cannot wear any armor and helmets, only bracers or gauntlets.

The operations needed here are very peculiar: I couldn't use something as the Kensai's unusable value, since that one blocks even bracers and gauntlets. I had to use some nasty combinations, and very "illegal" tricks.

Shields and helmets (excluding Ioun Stones, since you can dualclass to mage) are handled by the installer automatically, as long as S.A. is installed after those items mods (as it should). I don't need to "know" them.

It's a lot different for what I generally label as "vile" weapons: poisoned weapons, weapons that add continuous acid or bleeding damage, slivers...
Since I cannot teach morality to the installer (yet!), I have to specify them one by one.

I don't have half of those mods, though.
Surely I will want to handle the NPC mods, though probably no action will be needed for them.
aVENGER's items are fine, they need no patching.
Items from UB and similar fine mods will have to be checked.

Items included in lesser mods will be disregarded, for the moment at least. Really, I don't even know them.
