I have got the book of unknowing and killed Hasdar, but Haeball won't talk to me, except to say "time to die" or equivalent.
He has this reaction before I killed Hasdar, before I met the Tana-ari, and it doesn't change when I kill Hasdar.

I've spent the past week or so installing a mega modification and after trimming out several mods I'm still having a problem with some dialogs. I've re-installed three times now with no luck. After starting baldur's gate i get nonsensical dialogs in certain areas, specifically: In candlekeep, the guard in front of the building with the rats (Reevor? i think), the note on Gorion's body, and the mage that attacks in front of the friendly arm. All of these dialogs are wrong, and seem to be borrowing dialogs from somewhere else or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. i quit after the mage at the friendly arm, so there could be many more

Reinstall a completely fresh installation along with the mods you have decided upon and start a new game. That should resolve your problem.
