It's coming along, I apologize for it being so vauge.  I didn't want to lose the idea though, there's a bunch of other stuff to go along with it, but -ponders- think of it more as a sectional to an NPC, I wanted to make something unique that hasn't been done yet, part of it lies in a love triangle idea; but anyway, I'll have more up soon.  Along with Amn's famous Adventurer's Plate...  Errr I'll explain later- promise.

If you do, would you mind a slight colour scheme request (or mind if I do it)? I'm looking for an alternate version of her for my clerics get their deity colours portrait pack, and this one might fit the bill if I can steal it (giving you credit of course ). The armour is fine, being a leathery wood-brown colour (since I think she reveres the gnomish god Baervan Wildwanderer), but she should maybe have sky-blue trim (perhaps matching her eyes), or possibly just a blue feather (or feathered earring) somewhere, since she also reveres the elvish sky goddess Aerdrie Faenya.

If you want to, by all means feel free I believe that was one of my first portraits, so it's only an edit -shrugs- I don't mind if you want to edit it to fit your vision I have some other great ones that aren't mine if you want to take a look at any of them just let me know. I'm lazy and tend to procrastinate when it comes to edit jobs -shrugs- either that or maybe it's because my mouse pad is just down-right terrible XD

Well, first of, is this a separate NPC, so you are making one from scratch?

Well, what class is this NPC, Attributes, alignment, sample banters ect.

If you want to get someone to code this for you you need to have a more in-depth design. Oh, and learn .D dialogues.

Well I'm not sure entirely I want to do it yet, so I'm putting it out there as an idea. I'm familiar with .d dialogues, and I'm capable of writing out banters and such.

I just wanted to pitch it out there and see if it interested anyone else before I go into too much detail

So as I was sitting in my room last night, trying to fall asleep, without much luck, mind you; I came up with this idea for an NPC that would be well... Kind of humoring...

So I had trouble stomaching the whole Anomen romance. He just reminds me of my old roomate, the way he talks... Not that my roomate talked quite to that degree, but close enough to the point where it made me sick. You know, where you reach the point where you're just convinced that said person just likes to hear their own voice?

-clears throat- back on topic though. As I said before, the Anomen romance was truly hard for me to stomach, however before my days of playing with modded NPC characters, he was the only romance open to me. -shrugs- okay so he wasn't that bad looking, but eh... that's about it. It didn't really thrill me, no banter really. The Kelsey NPC enthralled me because of the banter...

(I'm getting long-winded and sound like Jan, I know, just bare with me) So my thought (here it comes) was to create an NPC that is also interested in pursuing Anomen, and should you decide to romance our 'favorite' member of The Order, it creates a challenge. (Not that Anomen really needs any more hot air going to his head, as to have two women fighting over him) however if you manage to snag Anomen for yourself, you still have the matter of trying to keep your other NPC in your party and in good graces.

Short version:
If you and a friend like the same person, chances are one person will get "lust object" and one will not. There is a chance of still remaining friends afterward, though it strongly depends on the decisions one makes. Why not have an NPC do the same?

My question, would you play it?

They're all pretty good, but the last one is, I dunno... weird. Either it's the glow around the hair, or the face is a bit too thin.

And, heh. Did Aerie loot a half-orc or something? 'Cause that armour looks vaguely familiar... biggrin.gif. Actually, that one is pretty good though. Do you have a larger (ToB epilogue style) version?

Don't tell her I told you, but she's got it out for the "bad boys" lol. Sadly I don't have an epilogue sized image of this portrait, and I just spen probably close to an hour looking for an epilogue size orc portrait to no avail. I was just going to re-create it -grumbles- I have to come to the conclusion that when one types the word 'portrait' with 'baldur's gate' on a search engine, your results will be someone with stolen artwork, cropped down to the proper dimensions. -sigh- just reminds me why I started editing to begin with. Oh if the Portrait Portal were only still open...

So I figured I'd make a little topic and post my portraits that I've made, though most of them are quite old. I won't be publishing the ones I created for BookWyrme without her at least giving me the "go ahead" on it However, for whatever reason when I upload my images, they save as a .jpg file :/ Just PM me if you want the .bmp files or epilogue files (if I have them) and I'll be happy to send them over.

Are you still in need of someone to do this for you?  It may take me a bit of time, as to there are so many, but I'm more than capable of doing so.  I can send you some samples of my work if needed.  However, I would need a larger scaled image of Larz, the image is dark and hard for me to see.
