Yep you can start in TOB. Summon him via the Fate Spirit and choose Edwin your lover not just Edwin the Red Wizard or mage or whatever. Your lover.

Would it be possible for me to start in ToB, summon Edwin via the spirit in the pocket plane and continue the romance from there? I really, really don't want to have to start over completely.

Okay, so, please keep in mind that I'm something of a newbie when it comes to using the CLUAConsole correctly, so it's highly likely that I've screwed up somehow here...

Firstly I'd just like to say that this mod is fantastic. I'm playing through it for the second time and I've got up to the conversation where Edwin(a) should ask me for a lock of hair... only she isn't. I left the game on pause for ages but still nothing. So I checked the Global, which was apparently 'Global set to 840492'. Maybe I'm off my rocker, but I'm sure that isn't right.

Sooo... help? Any advice would be appreciated. Again, I'm not very good with the Console so if there's a code I need to use please type it out in full for me. I'm a bit dense when it comes to this sort of stuff.

Oh, and as a side note, if anyone could explain to me how to trigger conversations, I'd appreciate that as well. I notice there's a new thread about it here, but I don't really understand what was said there.

You're welcome. I never tried resting outdoors after the Lich battle. I finish it and head right back to the FF and rest. There is a wonderful dialog with Eddie and then Momma shows up right in the middle of...something. Good luck!

Holy crap you've finished the romance! There is no more content. Of course you'll now get the Slayer talk and the Lust Chamber flirts and event talks but you're essentially done. The quest I meant was the one where Eddie gets a letter from you know who.
I think I read somewhere that somebody had Eddie's mother show up in the Underdark so I guess you can go to Spellhold now but why not rest first? So I guess you haven't met his mother yet?

Heh, I thought I had to be getting near the end of it. Nope, I've not met his mother yet, but I think I'll rest a few times and leave the game on pause for that before I try heading after Imoen, just to be on the safe side.

You can go any time as long as Edwin's personal quest is not left hanging. If you go after you are lovers you will get a nice Slayer talk (don't forget to PID talk him) and you will get the Drow lust chamber flirts which are very nice! I like to wait for lovers stage because of this.

Ah, thank you. So if I've just done the Lich battle, it is alright to leave after that? Or do I need to wait until whatever business there is with Edwin's mother is over?

I'm not sure why they didn't install properly the first time, but it looks like everything is in working order now.

They work here. After I killed Mae'Var and the romance officially started.

I installed it again and it SEEMS to be working now. I mean, I've got more options and stuff, but I have this feeling that something isn't quite right, that I haven't got ALL of the options. Which ones are available to you at the moment?

Thanx first of all for a wonderfull mod, makes it fun playing BG2 again!

I'm not sure if this is a problem, but I installed Eddie romance SoA and ToB and then the flirts, however, I can't actually flirt with Eddie. Everytime I try to he only says that about his head spinning because of reading the scroll and that he'll be fine once he casts a enhanced enchantment spell, but I don't get any other options. Hmm... ?

I tried replay the sequence where I pick him up, but nothing. I tried installing it again, still nothing. Any ideas?
