nwn+addons is good and so is kotor. jade empire seems to bee a good game, too and i think you can play it on pc with an emu.don't talk to me about leonheart or never winter nights).
btw, have you played all those great snes ps action adventures/interactive films a la ff, chrono xxxx, ect.

my school is a bit different. i have nearly the same date as the unis here in germany. its fachhochschule (i think it has no proper word in english) (when you are ready you are diplom ingenieur (for technical feats like electro-engeneering) or diplom informatiker [ it ] ). those dates arent really good. until now of 2 month holiday (i have august and september) i can work only 1 month because of the regular holidays. (i can only work august, in september the regular school holidays ends and the workers are getting back so no job for me)

what if you make a spell which has 20 effects from 20 to 40 and every effect adds the proper amount of hp? if you choose this hla at lvl 20 you get 20 hps. but would the spell use at lvl 21 the effect for a lvl 21 character?Yes, my problem is that HP bonus/level effect. I don't know how to edit it without using scripts, and to tell the truth, I'm not a skilled scripter

in reality is there any difference between mage and wizard and sorcerer? in german we have zauberer and magier, too and i dont know the difference, too.

yes, yes. i know the spell system of dnd and the difference of sorcs and mages. it just sounded more cooler for necros who sacrifice their health to power their spells or something.Oh, I disagree 100%.
Nerco's learn spells. One of them might come up with a way to power spells with blood, but that's pretty far outside of most AD&D spells. Nero's, like other mages, memorize their spells and cast them using external energy.
Sorcerers on the other hand *are* magic. They power their own spells and 'cast' them innately. It only makes sense to me that they could choose to burn themselves to a crisp by drawing upon that source of power too much.

isnt a ranger born with ambidexterity and a fighter learns it? thus the fighter wont be as good as a ranger with dualwielding.

agreed and kensai dont get toughness, imo.Also, swashbucklers could receive improved critical because they are finesse fighters (ressembling much with Blade).

na, i think he is a god and the gods he created like amaunator are gods, too. he is like a father for them.AO is from my perspective the Real DnD god, the others are more like powerfull angels or deamons
what is the difference between demi, quasi and lesser god?

lets say i, schatten god of strength, have a strength of 40 and you made a npc with strength 45. do you think in 3ed no one would question you about that? or am i confused and did not understand that?Every time someone posts in this thread, I'm reminded of how much I prefer the 3rd edition rules to the 2nd edition. If this game were under the 3E rules, this squabbling about Chloe's dexterity would not be occuring as it's far less than a mature air elemental's in 3E rules.

imo its wrong to compare a npc to the best npc there is. korgan is one of the best. i think its better to look at decent npcs in a group with every npc equiped decently. look, if you look ar the top end then the npc surely will be the dominant force in battle; if you look at the bottom and compare them then the npc sucks in battle. understand what i mean?Chloe has her advantages too, that is true. I didn't feel they were that much beyond what Jaheira and Korgan, for example, have. Perhaps I am wrong. If the general consensus is that she is too powerful then tell me how you want her nerfed. If a good number of people agree and not many disagree, then if can be put in with the next patch.
