Greetings,

Riskbreaker kit version 2 is released. The main download site and discusion Forum is this:

http://games.groups....iskbreaker_kit/

It is also available in "Dragon's hoard" download page at The Black Wyrm:

http://dragonshoard....et/download.php

These are also two mirrors to directly download the mod:

http://dragonshoard....oad.php?mod=271

http://www.rydia.net...kbreaker_v2.rar

The version you will find at the main site has a slightly better composed Readme file.
Except for that, it is exactly the same you can download from other mirros.

What is new in version 2:
- Bug fixed: Riskbreaker is now truly immune to time stop.
- Bug fixed: Critical hits are now really made on rolls of 17+.
- Immunity to Barkskin added.

I'm looking forward to receiving feedbacks from players who try the kit in practice, to see whether they have enjoyed playing it and whether they have suggestions and ideas for future works.

Have fun!

You should delete the files in your RBK/backup folder :).

You are right, but will they cause any trouble? Won't they be overwritten during the installation. Thanks!

It's just good practice.

how come you always look so damn cool in every photo I see you in?!?

Speaking of modding, I listened to IER 3 yesterday, so you can have another quote for your signature: how come you sound so damn cool, as well as look it? It's unfair. Seriously.

Still a cyberjock, still hacking the matrix, still unsure of what that means.

It's just good practice.

Saves download time for people as well, depending on how many and what files are in there.

Thanks for the tips!

In this case, however, the difference between download times (with and without those redundant files) is negligible. Using a dial up connection, the difference will be almost 1 and a half second. I checked it.

And the redundant files will have no side effect on the mod. During installation they will be replaced with users own backup files. That is to say, those people who have already downloaded and installed the kit need not worry about anything. The mod (as it stands) works flawlessly.
