Hung up in Candlekeep after Saverok killed

Well I killed Saverok. He was not please he was going to die. Saverok died and nothing else happened. So I started up BG2 manually. I got the movie and briefly saw Iranicus' torture chamber. Then I was move to Candlekeep where I was a decade younger.

I did the chores. Shelved the books for Brother Dewey. Did it in the correct order. Went to Mrs Clarissa and got the milk, then made the beds. Mrs Clarissa said she would tell Gorion that I was finished later on. I went to Gorion and this is the conversation:

Gorion says: Have you finished your chores, child?

The possible responses are:

1) I haven't finished today's chores, Father.
2) I'm almost done, Father. I won't be long.
3) Sorry to bother you Father. I've got things to do.

So I am stuck here as neither choice moves the game along.

Anyone know how to continue. Tried talking to all but priests and readers. Got no help.

Try using Hoppy's updated Sarevok.cre in your override and report back if that fixes the problem.

I installed sarevo.cre in the overide folder. Started the game. Got hung up in the same place.

Thanks for the suggestion. Too bad it did not work.

This sarevo.cre should help you for your problem with Sarevok, not for your problem in Candlekeep. Can you test if your descriped Sarevok bug is resolved with this file?

With your problem in Candlekeep I have no idea at the moment. Sorry. Maybe someone else can help.

Sarevok is not supposed to die without giving a "Death speech" and furthering the plot. Try installing the file and killing him again.

Thanks to all. Severok fixed and dead.

Moved on to CtB/Candlekeep chores. Stuck at day 3. I have done all the chores, out to play with Imoen. Playing tag. Imoen and my charater run around tagging each other. Then both characters stand in front of the Bunkhouse. They have not said ot done anything for the last 5 minutes. Time to check the CtB forum.
