You have to put the .exe, along with all other files/folders in the BGII-directory.

Same for me, it is the file YikariV1.1.exe that doesnt run, not the setup.exe !

YikariV1.1.exe is a self-extracting archive. It will, by default, extract the Weidu executable and all Yikari's files to C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA.

Once in this folder, setup-sdnpc.exe should run. If you have an old version of the download, it will not and you must run setup-sdnpc.exe manually (or re-download).

Setup-sdnpc.exe will give you the option to install Yikari.

Now, what's the problem, exactly :)?

OK, there is a problem with the file. I will contact my mirrors later today and try to sort this problem out... sorry

EDIT: New file sent. I expect the problem to be fixed shortly.

I fixed that issue a while ago...

Go into your BG2 folder and run setup-sdnpc.exe or try another mirror :) (to get the auto-run to work).

I know that my FTP site has the right version.

Hm.

Does Yikari have a "kick out" dialogue? Because if he does, I'm not seeing it. I even tried to take CF from him to see what he would do, but he just walks up to my PC and then... nothing.

Whatever you like ;). But yes, that's a known issue with the unreleased version. Don't worry about it too much.
