the majority of the words on this page seem to say that a mod for the wicked should be made. Oh well, i saw the thread for mods that shouldn't be done and thought "hey! why don't they have a thread for mods that SHOULD be done?" now i know, there is.

Your mod does indeed look evilly excellent, but (last time I checked) it doesn't provide evil alternatives for existing quests, which is what The Mod for the Wicked intended to do.

I always felt there weren't enough forests... 
Small teeth pass ect. just seemed like a lame, last-minute attempt by bioware to add a few forests in... they were pretty rubbishy, really....

Although the release of it seems pretty distant to me, LoI might suffice (although it introduces new locations rather than filling in the existing outdoor ones).

Yep, we're planning to do a few of the Mod for the Wicked ideas, including the Copper Coronet stronghold/expanded slavers scenario and stuff with the Fallen Paladins.

Actually, expanding the choices of animals available for familiars would probably be a good idea (my favorite's the Psudo Dragon), but I wouldn't just have you pick from a list. Make it somewhat random (like it is in D&D), neutral animal familiars (wolfs, birds, beatles, etc) can go with anyone, evil demon/devil familiars go with evil PCs (stuff like quasits, imps, and hell hounds) while good PCs get good familiars (err... can't think of any off the top of my head, I'm sure there are a few).
As a side note to Awake:
I took a look at your Samurai mod (it is a fighter kit right?) and, while I like the idea, it seems a little unbalanced (and badly worded, the readme could have been clearer). Also will there be a Weidu version? I'm trying to avoid non-Weidu mods since they have a tendency to screw something up in my game.

i'll have to check out the readme when i get the chance. but it is a weidu kit. 
i'm not sure how it couldn't be. maybe i forgot to package the weidu installer. i'll have to talk to DP on that one.
I like the idea of random familiars, i don't know how to do it, but i'll look. those are some good familiar ideas though.

Oni, did you figure out the Samurai Kit? I swear that that is in weidu. I took another look at it, and i don't understand what you mean. The kit is probably a little unbalanced, i haven't had a look at it recently, but i'll check it out again. The readme will probably have to be redone to. It really isn't helpful at all. Besides that i don't understand what you mean as far as it not being weidu. Does anyone else know what i might have done wrong on there in not making it weidu?
