All the components of The Big Picture in any of it's incarnation can be found on The Wizard's Mirror.
Strangely enough, most mods can be found in their appropriately labelled folder. :D

Once installed, peruse the various tweaks and fixes available at Seanas' Miscellaneous Big Picture Fixes.

TDD Kit Remover: http://forums.gibber...?showtopic=1517

or you can install the Cleric Remix, which also has a kit remover: http://www.gibberlin...dex.html#cleric

IIRC it's one of the files contained within BPv161G-FULL.zip

yep, NiGHTMARE is correct.

the procedure for getting the autoinstaller is a bit counter-intuitive, so i'll try to make it a bit clearer:

1. downloadBPv161G-FULL.zip
2. unzip BPv161G-FULL.zip so that you get BPv161G-FULL.exe
3. run (ie extract) BPv161G-FULL.exe to a dummy folder (ie any folder, as long as it's NOT yr BGII folder)
4. find in the dummy folder the BPv161G-AUTOINSTALL.exe, and place it in yr BGII folder. whilst yr there, you may as well grab the autoinstall readme.
5. place the unextracted BPv161G-FULL.exe in yr BGII folder, if it isn't already.
6. delete the contents of the dummy folder.

then, proceed with the install procedure (as directed by the autoinstall readme, which is why it is a good idea to grab it in step 4) and before long you'll be battling bugbears, frost giants and ettins in Chateau Irenicus...

Is that Wizard's place supposed to be infernally slow (averaging on 3.0 kb/s) or should I shut down my flatmates' computers?

umm, well, I did. It didn't seem very much faster... and quite frankly, I got 96% done with the DL... I'd much rather finish those 4% than start over :-p

goddammit!

It appears... that despite all my whining and gnarling... I've already GOT Tortured Souls downloaded... *sighs* But I didn't recognize it, since it only had an abbreviated exe file in it... you really should add a readme .txt file or something...

edit:

Trust it on me to make THAT kind of post for my 200th post! :P

sorry to ask but is there another place to get the files? the european mirror is *extremely* slow for me, i got like 1.8kb/s which means aprox. 11.5 hours for tortured souls 5.1 ... not to mention the patches for TS and TBP. this is impossible for me as i have no 24/7 connection. heck, even icq sending is faster then this :(

i would need the following:
Tortured Souls 5 + 5series patches
The Big Picture
Freedom's Reign / Reign of Virtue
Redemption 1.13

thx in front

No there isnt another place. However, the program called Internet Download Manager can help with the speeds. Search for a trial version in google.
