umm... that would be really hard to do with this engine. maybe we could try it with the infinity times ten engine(ITTE) and then it might work. But then again, there's no such thing as an engine like that.
I do remember the brain golems, i also remember i hated their guts. Perhaps a turnip golem? or a grass golem? or a poop golem?

just add another qust were the golem actually runs into people trying to take over the sphere and you eventually find out who if you could do that i could rwrite banters

I guess that could work. Actually, yeah it could. And then there's some archmage silver attempting to kill you. and then i make this huge mod all based off of familiars. Archmage Silver: What kind of familiar would you want a character based off of you to have? Ok, this may sound serious, but not really. Maybe for another mod, or for a later version. First i'm just going to make some extra familiars for people, they won't be random though. But they'll be different, with different dialogues. That is the first step, and i'm going to thank (bt_igi?) ahead of time for the weidu thingy(sorry, can't think of what else to call it) that will make this possible. Then, after the extra familiars, i'm going to see what i can do about making it possible for Aerie to have a familiar, which i'm working on right now. If anyone knows how to code a spell for only one person to use it(ie Aerie only), tell me please. I'm working on that right now, I'm thinking of just making it a spell already in her spell book, but i want it to just be a scroll that she finds eventually. I'm thinking her familiar could be something winged...
Or i could just put it into her inventory from the beginning and then she can have some huge long whining banter where she cries and cries and cries and... you get the idea, when it dies. After that, i'll add on to the planar sphere, currently i'm starting a game as a mage, i haven't played as one in a long time. CHAOTIC EVIL SWASHBUCKLERS RULE!!! Sorry, that was off topic. Just finish the familiars first. I suggest an edited version of the standard Familiar spell, giving players a choice of familiars.
Once you've completed that, move onto something els.

well, i'm not going to start a new thread on this, so how about everyone just voice their opinions on what they would rather have and for what alignments. I think a CN mage would have a war dog. I don't know why, but that's how i feel.

If your not going to be available, I'd suggest leaving this till you have more time.
I'd suggest reading the posted tutorial (if you intend to go along those lines) and trying it out. If you dont intend to use a similar method - figure something else out first - before asking for opinins and stating the mod contents.
If you intend this as a serious mod (without turnip and poo golems), I also suggest you put together some guidelines - are you altering the existing familiars, possibly by giving upgrades? Are you adding new familiars (based on alignment? Or something else)? Are you allowing familiars for all classes? For all characters? Will you be making familiars more useful, or just adding to whats already there?

As for a monkey.... I don't think that animation is available unless i were to use a kobold... that wouldn't work out though, ed's kobold/monkey wouldn't make it very well in a certain asylum...

i'm guessing that was dragonlord, but i may be wrong.
This is off topic, but it does in a way have to do with mages. Does anyone know if there is a kit remover that removes the original kits? I don't want to do this manually, i would be doing it way too much.

probably. ok, i've made a script for the familiars to go to the pc and jump in his/her pack when at 10 hp or less. I just have to test it, and then transfer it to my other computer so i can upload it here for those who want it. Right now i'm at school though.

unfortunately this is going on the "backburner." not literally, because it was never officially "in progress" even though i did some work on it.
