I have read the previous topics on the deva quest...I have found the purple potion, and I got the jewel from Aesgareth. Yet, when I go to "the compass room" (which I take as the very first room I enter when I enter the third level of WK) there are no imps, and nothing happens.

I wonder if my cheat key caused the problem...you see, the demon who swallowed the celestial essence said he will join my party, but his portrait was not included in my party automatically (meaning, when I move to other room, he won't follow the whole party). So, I used the good old ctrl + q, and I wonder if this force party cheat key is causing the problem. Any help would be appreciated!

Oh, and by the way, I don't see the demon hunter either (I don't know which one you should see first, whether it is the imp or the demon hunter, but I saw neither of them in the "compass room."

Sit in the compass room and wait until Jon and the Bebelith have a little dialogue. After it's over, the Demon Hunter shows up. After you kill him, the imps show up.

By the way -- the demon turns 'green' after agreeing to join with you. To move him around you need to talk to him -- absolutely no need to use the cheat key. He has dialog options that allows you to send him to any room within the maze and when you enter he auto-turns ally and fights for you. I have no clue what happens if you force Abaia into the party -- it might be that the rest of the Quest will be screwed up since he has to be in 'ally' mode in some of the scripts.

Freedom cannot be equated with goodness, virtue, or perfection. Freedom has its own unique self-contained nature; freedom is freedom ? not universal goodness. Any confusion or deliberate equalization of freedom with goodness and excellence is in itself negation of freedom, and acceptance of the path of restraint and enforcement.

Many thanks to Dorotea and Arcalian! Finally worked the quest. Hmm...By the way Dorotea, I love this mod. Including Ascension, this is one of the best mods I have played! I respect your work :)

Oh and BTW, while I was using Jon, I noticed his casting time was extremely fast (with Robe of Vecna + power amulet)....It seems that his casting time is already reduced without Vecna, and I feel that just maybe...(just a suggestion :) ) maybe...he is overpowered? Or is this intended?

Anyways, thanks a bunch!
