Is there a special way to install or something. I thought ZI did every thing right but I went to Eng's shop at the prominade and could not find Hublepot. I have other mods installed. For example I also have the turnip golem mod and that does not seem to work either. Any help would in fact be appreciated.
Thanks

I'd say there's a large possibility that you've already been in the shop before you installed Hubelpot, in which case Hubelpot won't spawn. This will be fixed in the next version.

If you want to play Hubelpot, you can use the CLUAConsole to spawn him. You'd need to write: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("SC#Hub") in order to create Hubelpot. :)

Hubelpot specific plus some extra vegi's please.

I wanted the clue consul to add Hubelpot and the turnip golem. Both are said to be installed but when I did it and it says it does not work. Oh and YES I have been to Enges shop prior to downloading Hubelpot.
When I try to clue him in it says something like file already exisit and only repeates the first three letters in the clue consul. (Like "sc# ,.............then stops).

Is ther any way to use ShadowKeeper to bring the Turnip golum and Hubelpot up????????
ANything else?? Please!
I am down to my last two mods for this games betatest. HELP!
P.S. Merry Christmas

The problem is that you've been in Enge's shop before, yes. That specific area doesn't have a script of it's own, so what I do is that I add a new script to that area. Problem is, if you've already been in the shop, the savegame will have stored that area as scriptless.

The only thing I can think of off-hand, without altering the scripts is to use the CLUAConsole. Are you're sure you're doing it the right way?

You'll need to enable cheats in the baldur.ini, then press CTRL+Space in the game to see the console. Then you type: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("SC#Hub") (case sensitive). If that doesn't work, would you mind posting a screenshot of the attempt?

Ok, all is solved now. The CluaConsul worked, I was doing it wrong. I did not type CluaConsul in the script.
The Turnip Golem is weak. I was expecting a huge golem with incredible power. No Way.
HublePot is only first level. This is weird for a Shadows of Amn Game I think. I may try to up him in Shadow Keeper. Where are his Vegitables, I thought he would have a bunch to start with?
Other than that all goes well, thanks SConrad for your gameing support.
P.S. Is that a picture of you or someone else in the avatar box?
Happy 2004

Great. :)

Hubelpot is a vegetable merchant. Of course he's level 1.

Where are his Vegitables, I thought he would have a bunch to start with?

The vegetables is in his Vegetable Farmer-kit, which in the beta1 is disabled, due to bugs.

Other than that all goes well, thanks SConrad for your gameing support.

You're welcome. :)

P.S. Is that a picture of you or someone else in the avatar box?

Indeed it is. Somewhat modified, though. ;)

Happy new year to you too. :)

Nope, I wasn't. I'm not that good with Photoshop. Immortality is the guilty one.

Next version will include the Vegatable Farmer-kit.

Hey SConrad can you tell me about one of Hubles quest? I was supposed to go to the copper coronet to talk with the gnome Blake and then upstairs to the lady Adams then to the Bridge district to the gang. I cannot find the gang or its leader, Draconis or something. In wharehouse somewhere. I searched every building.
Can you tell me where and can you give a creature summoning for the cluaconsol just incase. Thanks

He is in the brige district in the third house in a row. The area location is AR0500, X = 3965, Y = 1546. When you get to the bridge district you can hit x to show you the X,Y of your pointer. That will not take you right to him, but put you right outside the door that leads to him and his "merry band of thugs".

Lat guest post was by me Guest-Patrick.
Thanks for your reply Major Tom.
If I'm right its the house with all the box and crates in it, all trashed up, broken boards and such. Right by the arch that goes has the underwalkway.
Well, I think I found but no Dracandros. This is an in progress game and I had to CluaConsol Hublepot in. The other NPC have been around so why Dracandros is'nt I don't know. Can I Clua his band of merry thugs in or what?? I think I already cleared out this area before for some reason, I don't remember why.

Thanks
Patrick

Dracandros was already in the game, so if you've already been in that area, there's a large probability that you've already killed him. If you want to kill him again to get the gold, the clua-code is DEMMAG.

Ok I figured that out from Shadow Keeper, but what are the CluaConsol codes for his Band of Merry Thugs??
When I clue him in he is angry, is there anyway to talk with him?
Are there any follow up quest I should be aware of?
Thanks

If I remember correctly the only thing left after beating dracy is to go to the Five Flagons Inn and talk to Hublepot's son. Make sure you give the gold to Hublepot though. For some reason it will not go away if it is in <charname>'s inventory (I think, don't ask me, I just write crappy banters. Bob and Conrad do the real work).

D is Dracandros.

No, there's nothing more to the quest after talking to Hamlish. The note is there to have this mod relate to other parts of the game - as well as possibly trying to develop it further in the future.

I have an installation question.

I'm running Tutu, but I am still in the BG1 part. Can I install Hubbelpot now & have him work when I get to the BG2 part, or would I have to start a new game if I installed him now? Should I reinstall the whole shebang if I want to run him in this mod?

Tutu will only let you play BG1, you need to have a separate install of BGII. Naturally, it's perfectly okay to install Hubelpot on the BGII-install. ;)
