I have 4 Player characters - all shown as *HARBASE, a lot of NPC - all are *AHEIR.
All of them are the same inside :) and not any SetLocalVariable (except one that doesn't have any name or title...)
Have NI 1.32. Is there something wrong I see? :blush:

Using DLTCEP is a little bit better, but I can see locals only of those NPCs who's not in the party.

Sounds like something wrong--I have a list of party members 0 to 5, and non-party NPC's 0 to 39. Each of the party members corresponds to one of my group. The * for the first character is not an issue--that's how things are done.

EDIT: I have the same v132 as you.

P.S: NEVER open a.sav file in dltcep. It will dump every file into your override folder, overwriting what was already there. There is a setting to stop this, but it doesn't seem to work right.

There is no entry for Tiax in NPClevel.2da at present BP config.

There's some kind of update (at least - part 1) that you can try...

Fixes:

1) All BG1 NPCs that had wrong weapons slot selected now have something in their hands to defend themselves.
2) Xzar/Montaron Nashkell related script and dialogs.
3) Kivan's intentions to put revenge on bandits now have some background and consequences - he gives you some time (but IMO far enough unless you'll be tooooooo slow) to find them (as it should be) - dialogues + script.
4) Kagain has his quest fixed now (as far as there're even some corresponding strings in his dialogs that were unused before). It's still very simple but you still have to be a little hurry with it - 1 area+script, 1 new .cre, dialogs and NPC's script.

Still necessary to modify Kagain's script in a matter of promised payment for each busted bandit. If someone wish to help in this question - one step forward! :)

5) Simple fix for Alora's dialogues and script.

That's all for now. Not too much though.....

For those people using SBT, I just had a quick browse through the files of KD's package, and some of these files may overwrite SBT installed ones, so use this with caution if you intend it.

KD, did you test any of Kagain's updates with BG1NPC? I know that team also worked on fixing Kagain's quest. I don't remember if it is in our version or their current one though.

Tired of Bhaal? Try some classics mods instead:
