Funny that I can get the PRC ConvoCC to run and do the creation process by itself.... But when I log back into the mod.. The character isn't changed...

I have taken the liberty of JUST installing the PRC convoCC just to make sure I can at least create with this system...

and NOPE... big fat zero... I have tried over and over again but the characters just do not change in appearance...

Any ideas?

I WOULD like to run this mod but can't if the convoCC won't run....

I was thinking of starting over,, uninstalling MySQL and wiping everything out...
I have deleted all the tables before and tried again.... Hell, I even went as far as using the .mdb table... NOPE.... uugghhjh.. I hate being stuck like this...

I KNOW this works cause a long time ago I had this running flawlessly... and i can run Red Golems Custom Creator and that uses NWNX and MySQL and works fine... I dunno what is going on here....

I dunno....any insight?

Hello, i am extremly new to NWN and running my own server. I have been running my server now for about 2 weeks and i found the nordock module (cause i was looking for a PW). Since the first Nordock i found i have slowly progressed to new versions and flavors of it. Which now brings me here. In each version i have found things i liked and disliked about them. With that said i am very excited to try out this version, but i do have a few questions that im hoping will be answered rather shortly.

1. I noticed that the last version of this topic was version 5. I have downloaded what i believe to be version 7. What has changed since then? (Disregard after i posted i saw this http://www.shsforums...showtopic=14278 )

2. The major beef i have had with some modules has been the 0xp gained for some, or if your a higher level most encounters. Dose this module give ATLEAST a base of 5xp, and if not were can i go to modify this so that it dose (keep in mind i am really green with this).

3. When it comes time for me to "add-on" to this module myself i am guessing that as long as i keep this module as a "base" then all the rules and scripts will keep with the add-on?

4. Stupid question im sure, but when i DL this version the directions said that i need to run the auto-installer with all the expansions installed and not coppied over, what if i am running this as a dedicated server (IE im running 1.65 NWNServer) IS the only way to run this module from a full install, or is this just for clients? and were is the full mod file for the server...besides the mini-sql mod.

Thanks for anyones responce to this. Believe me when i say that i have spent HOURS reading through help me files, script builders forums, mod-builders forums, CEP website is down (so who knows what help they have :) ). All the help i seem to find is over 2 years old. I have a dedicated server and want to provide the best server i can right out of the box for my users. ANY and ALL help welcome.

1. Hold off on installing version 7. There are several issues with it and Horred is putting together a v8 to address the issues.

2. I think I saw base exp of 12, but I wasn't looking for it when I saw it, so that may be wrong.
( EDIT:
actually line 172-174 of hc_defaults script is: 

// Set the base exp used for all creature kills, 300 is the DMG default per CR
// adjuseted to 10% default. Adjust as needed to match your campaign speed.
int BASEXP = 21;
)

3. Should be fine if you have the hak paks installed on your toolset install.

4. The dedicated server comes with the expansions added in (get the latest version). mini-sql mod?

i kept copies of every version I've downloaded ;)

and while i'd love to supply them all I'm sure my ISP wouldn't

Thx for the FAST replay guys, and even though i am impatient i will try to hold off for the next version :)

Thx for the help on XP too, ive posted about that in 5 forums and this is the first time i have gotten a responce :)

Also i did the auto installer on my home system and noticed a new nordock module. I take it this is the one i need for the server. And is it already set up for SQL or do i need to do the step of importing the .erf file to the module. and is it ok to change the name of the module in arura (i'm not taking away the credits, actually i want to add to them :) ) or will this mess something up in the database or scripts?

Sorry for questions im just excited there are people out there actually willing to help :)

The minimum award for creatures is 5XP. That baseXP award is used in the calculations--I have switched this back to the default 30 (10% of 300) as well.

Well, with the all helpfull and great work Horred has so graciously offered me, I can't wait to see what his real work is like.
He got my MOD up and running nice and smooth, and fixed alot of very glareing problems with ease.
I not being a scriptor, but a builder and story teller, will always be appreciateive of his work.

I look forward to your Nordock. I have been un impressed with several other versions I have tried to play on.

I am sure I will have a blast on yours.
