When installing either the beta version or the previous version of Edwin-SoA, I get the error message "WARNING: cannot find block matching [edwin/bcs/DPLAYER2_ORIGINAL.BCS]". Then the installation proceeds as normal and all seems to be well. I'm now wondering if this somehow messed with my game, preventing Edwin warning me not to leave for Spellhold before his second quest.

Was this the latest version of 1.03 Edwin SoA? The one at the end of the update thread, not the beginning? The first one had some problems, preventing proper installation.

And yes, although I'm not sure exactly what error you are having, that could be giving you trouble.

It happened for either version I tried to install, both the newest and 1.02.

Have you installed any mods that might modify Edwin? If it's not that, is there a chance that the installation has gotten messed up and you already have ER installed and are trying to install it on top of an earlier install?

I believe I recall getting the error upon the very first installation attempt, but I cannot be entirely positive about that. I tried to install the beta TOB version, which errored out completely and failed to proceed, so I manually deleted those files then installed the previous TOB version, which gave no errors during installation. I then installed Chloe.

Back to Edwin-SoA, I used the included uninstall feature to uninstall, then reinstalled the file and copied down that error message. Right now I can't be sure if I manually deleted all of the files for Edwin-SoA as well, I'm sorry.
