Ok first of my PC is half-elf male ranger so no wanting to stay with me, because she is sexually attracted to me. Now my PC isn't a bible thumper, out to rid the world of homosexuals or anything like that. However he is like The Punisher or Dirty Harry, wanting to destroy all evil, and using the same brutal tactics they use against them. (If you aren't familiar with The Punisher or Dirty Harry an example of my PC's personality would be that he would block of all exits in a drow village, then light it on fire, and if any drow came begging for mercy, he'd push her face into the fire, till she told him some useful information and then kill her) Now my PC still does have a heart, he'll give money to starving children and whatnot. So my question is would Chloe still be a friend to my PC as long as he was a good friend to her, or would she get put off by his tactics in fighting evil?

Sounds to me like your PC would kill children. Chloe doesn't like that and would be opposed to such tactics. She would also consider your PC's actions to be cowardly and more brutal than what is called for. She only considers face to face combat to be honorable.

Save a vampire. Give blood.

What you described doesn't sound like a Punisher or Dirty Harry-style anti-hero. It sounds like a maniac with multiple personalities.

Rangers have a fundemental respect for life: the burning of villages and overall brutality you describe just isn't their style- that is if they wish to remain a ranger for very long.

I see that I didn't really describe my PC's personality all that well. I should off been more specific with my example. My PC would under no circumstance kill children or any innocent. I should of been more clear in saying in that my PC would only burn the village after he had gotten all the innocents to safety. Sorry I made the post last night, and I was tired. Still it was a bad example a better one would be that my PC would burn down a drow raiding party's camp, or a bandit stronghold or something similar.

Still, even with me clearing up that under no circumstance would my PC kill children or harm any innocent, I have feeling from pervious posts that my PC and Chloe would not get along. Anyway again I apologize for not being more clear on the personality of my PC, and thanks for the response posts.

So, Lonewolf87, have you played with Chloe long enough to see if she is friends with your pc? I got curious about that after reading thru this thread. I wonder, too, if the pc gets much talk from Chloe if he/she isn't romancing her.
