I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a compatability issue. I've been attempting a huge BP-BGT Weidu install with several, nay, many other mods and all seems to be going well except I keep running into a similar parse error.

Errors:

[DSoA/Kangaxx/baf/KRLICH.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 611 column 51-51
Near Text: )
[Spell] argument [SHAPECHANGE_IRON_GOLEM] not found in [Spell.IDS]

[Spell] argument [SHAPECHANGE_GREATER_WOLFWERE] not found in [Spell.IDS]

[PlanarSphereMod/baf/Psq58.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 223 column 51-51
Near Text: )
[StateCheck] argument [STATE_NORMAL] not found in [State.IDS]

[PlanarSphereMod/baf/Psq58.baf] PARSE ERROR at line 240 column 51-51
Near Text: )
[StateCheck] argument [STATE_NORMAL] not found in [State.IDS]

[refinements/Hlab/Druid/Princes/_scripts/ELEMBENH.BAF] PARSE ERROR at
lumn 25-25
Near Text: )
[HaveSpellRES] argument [tg#sumb] not found in [Spell.IDS]

[refinements/Hlab/Druid/Princes/_scripts/ELEMBENH.BAF] PARSE ERROR at
olumn 25-25
Near Text: )
[HaveSpellRES] argument [tg#benh] not found in [Spell.IDS]

These errors continue on for many other columns, but i just posted the first few. It also happened with Drudic Sorcerer and Spell.ids, something about dispel magic, didnt save that one though. I'm not that down with modding, but is this going to effect the mods playability? Let me know if you need any other info. Thanks :)

Sorry, I should have been more specific, the whole naming convention is confusing, but I have TDD Weidu, SoS Weidu, NeJ v13 Weidu, DSoTSC, NToTSC, and SoBH. Not BP 161g. Basically, trying to get a Weiduized version of BP-BGT.

Ascension64 has stated elsewhere, and it's probably a good idea, to install only the BG1 mods only until you're ready to transition to BG2, then install those mods. :whistling:

This is until BP-WeiDU is released, anyway, to limit possible mod conflicts. My understanding is that is one purpose of BP-WeiDU... :naughty:

This may be true, but even if i play through BG1, and start BG2, then install the mods, I will still get these parsing errors on install. (Playing through BG1 isnt going to fix parsing errors, I believe) Unless are you supposed to play BG1 then uninstall.... but this kind of defeats the purpose. (Might as well use TuTu) :o I realise this is still in beta and BP-Weidu isnt out yet, but I just cant help myself, I want to play now. Its not really big deal as everything seems to work ok besides these few mods, which do install ok, just parsing errors. I will do more testing, maybe the mods work fine with the errors...

The mods will work but some situations may not work as expected. For example, SHAPECHANGE_IRON_GOLEM, is listed as a spell. Therefore, some creature/person is going to try to cast this and it isn't going to work in your game. This could be a major problem for you in the mod (what if you have to pass through a doorway looking like a golem) or it may not even be noticed in your game.

We should first ask if anyone else out there who installed Deeper Shadows of Amn, Refinements, and/or the Planar Sphere Mod in the context of the mega-modification has had similar problems.
