I'm hoping this has a simple fix somewhere that I missed.

The problem I've hit after installing BGT-Weidu v100 is that the NPCs in BG1 has shuffled soundsets. For example, Imoen has Minsc's sounds, Montaron has Khalid's, Khalid has Shar-Teel's. I looked into it wirh near infinity and everything looked fine until I played the sounds associated with their dialogues. Jaheira and Xzar were fine.

Imoen's "Heya! It's me..." referenced BIMOEN15.WAV, which ought to be right. However when I played the wav file, it was Minsc screaming about something to other. The problem is quite systematic with most party-joinable NPCs.

As well, the voiceover to the Chapter 1 prologue talking about "The morning is especially cruel..." After you and Gorion were ambushed by Sarevok was wrong. Instead of narrating the text, it sounded like some ogre or dumb creature trying to convince you not to fight.

All I've installed so far is eSeries from g3, Bdash-weidu, BGT-weidu and BGT-weidu tweak.

Hmm, that is very perplexing. What languages of BG1, BG2, and BGT are you using? This isn't the first time that someone has reported dialogue errors. In what order did you install the mods you have mentioned?

I had exactly the same problem but then I had a monsterinstall. Now I just go with BDash and some other 'fixpacks' and it works fine. Strange bug... Maybee helps reinstalling.

The order I installed is as I listedn them: eSeries from g3, Bdash-weidu, BGT-weidu and BGT-weidu tweak.

I originally had a monster-install going and ended up with the problem. I then removed everything and installed again from scratch using just the fix packs and BGT as above. The problem remained.

I guess I could try another reinstall. Third time's a charm?

Hope so. Put eSeries AFTER BGT-WeiDU, and make sure you have restored your original dialog.tlk before starting again.

Shouldn't Baldurdash be installed after BGT?

Someone in our forums has the same problem right now... I will try to investigate, but it seems there are no known workarounds... :crying:

Problem solved. It was caused by a bad BG1 installation (he did a recommended install then manually copied the files from the CDs to the data folder... but the resulting data folder was not exactly the same as a full install. With a full BG1 install, the problem disappeared).
