When moving west from Nashkal(i think, the town beside carnival) It crashes, sort of,the loading screen shows up after the auto save, and the windows stop sound goes off and then nothing happens, i only have the basic BTG installed, heres my logfile

// Log of Currently Installed WeiDU Mods
// The top of the file is the 'oldest' mod
// ~TP2_File~ #language_number #component_number // [Subcomponent Name -> ] Component Name
~SETUP-BGT.TP2~ #0 #0 // Baldur's Gate Trilogy - Core 1.01

Running on a 2.4ghz, Ge5500, 512 DDR Dual channel, all graphics setting ect maxed, plays nice and smooth cept for this bug.

Any help would be great and thanks again in advance for both the helpand the awesome mod.

It's the infamous Beregost bug.

It's in BG1 vanilla , Tutu and BGT as well.

I'm not a good enough modder to build an .are from scratch but I believe Ascension said that it will eventually be needed to fix it.

So don't worry about it and try to ignore it :)

If you have the time please post your savegame here so it can be researched.
Also if you're stuck because you didn't save before going to beregost , say so with the post.
As the savegame should be repairable.

Yeah, it wont let me go West of Nashkal to rescue Dayenara(sp?) so its kind got me stuck. Can you link to how i can repair my savegame?

I can post the savegame no problem, attached it to this post

Those are normal errors. Does it make a difference what area you are trying to move to, or which side of Nashkell you are leaving from?

West, to goto the gnoll stronghold. Only time it doesnt crash is when i get a random encounter, and then crashes when i leave the encounter.

Doesnt seem to matter where i leave from now, i tried going north from nashkal and then skip the whole city and head west of it directly, crashes.

Did you save outside in Beregost, and do you have a saved game from before going to Beregost?

No i didnt, Yes i do, and have tried multiplte times from diff saves, and restarted the whole game, rerolled my char ect, still no dice.

Im really convinced this is not the beregost bug, as my savegames load fine, i can move to any area except west of nashkal.

Im about to try a total reinstall of everything, BG1, ToSC, ect.

Woops sorry about that (don't know why I read beregost??, must've been tired sorry about that).
In any case this isn't the beregost bug heh
If you post your BGT.DEBUG file , we should be able to see if something went quite wrong during the installation.

I also tested your savegame and I can go to the area west of Nashkel just fine , so something must've gone wrong during the install probably.
(also went to the area northwest of nashkel just to make sure you didn't mean that one :P)

So obviously something went wrong during the install then.

In the process of a full reinstall, will let you know how it turns out

Sounds like AR5200.tis became corrupted during installation. This is actually very common if you didn't edit baldur.ini of Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast and had the BG2:ToB CD in the drive, since the ToB CD has AREA5200.bif, among other things.
