Drizzt won't join

When I went through CI dungeon there wasn't room for everyone in party, so I had to leave Wulfgar behind. Saw Drizzt on the way out, but he wouldn't join without W. So I go and pick up W again, but Drizzt still won't join.

I've looked for globals to change in SK but haven't found anything related to Drizzt. Does anyone know how I can get him to join (because he is needed for the main quest).

Well, I found a solution. Checked the ROT folder and found "Driz21". Just CLUA in, and he has the same joining dialogue (if Wulfgar is in party). Next time I start a new game I'm picking them up to avoid this. :D . I had to juggle characters from ROT/NEJ/TS before I even left the dungeon, it was difficult without CLUAing around the place.

Just a side note - I CLUA'd "Drizzt" (the original) and the dialogue was all messed up, and he ended up attacking. It was pretty funny. :P

Is it happening after his death/resurrection or after some non-fatal game actions (like cutscenes etc.)?

It happens when he is killed/resurrected and when he is de-petrified. The dragon attacks had quite a few different overkill attacks, including level drain and freeze, which blew him to pieces (and some others). But he talked like that if there was a body to revive/use stone to flesh on. It happened once in a while earlier in game with the same results.

In my game, with the Fix, Drizzt joined up even without Wulfgar. It wasn't clear from his dialogue if we needed to go get Wulgar (I used DungeonBeGone to jump to the exit).

But my question is this: if Wulfgar is left behind in Hotel Irenicus, is there a second chance to pick him up in Icewind Dale, as Gilgamesh implies here?

You can leave Wulfgar behind. The only thing you´ll miss would be the quest in Icewind Dale where you have to rescue his missing wife. You can do the quest without Wulfgar but then it´s just killing monsters for nothing but their treasures.

Well, you can always get Wulfgar back for Icewind Dale.

(I did a search on this but no definitive answer came up)

The fix came out after I finished a lot of ROT content, so had problems with Drizzt joining in the beginning. I ended up leaving Wulfgar in NEJ - Easthaven and cluaing to pick him up much later. Then cluad Drizzt.

If you leave Wulfgar in CI, you have to clua back to get him. In the IW part you can do everything without Wulfgar except his missing wife quest. If he is in the party and you go to the Ice Temple area some barbarians come up and talk to him and get the quest rolling. However he does not appear in IW if you left him somewhere else.

May have been asked already: does RoT add more content to Hotel Irenicus?

If so, I'd be willing to start new game to pickup Wulfgar.

(If I don't want to do that...) What would be the proper CLUA command to get Wulfgar?

Hey Azazello, glad to see someone else is trying out the mod. :D I think its very well done, especially the IW2 areas. I found these in the ROT cre folder:

"Wulfg2" and "Wulfg12" - one should work.

When I played through there was nothing extra in CI except picking up the two npcs. The main plot starts when you go to the slums. I pretty much followed Gilgamesh's quest outline topic to figure out things because with so many mods installed you don't know which person to talk to in area to get things moving. Reading that made things easier deciding what to do. I even considered writing a walkthrough but I'm too lazy, maybe on the next game. :whistling:
