ok, let's do a little test to see if it's me or AUTO_TRA being stupid: i'ev attached a slightly edited version of Setup-BP-BGT-Worldmap.tp2, with
AUTO_TRA ~BP-BGT_Worldmap/Language/%s~

changed to
AUTO_TRA ~BP-BGT_Worldmap/language/%s~

if someone wants to install it and see how lucky they are, i'd much appreciate it...

I think take a look again at post #4 in this thread. If you're using the Fixpack version of the .tp2 the .tra file reference in the .tp2 file needs to be changed from setup.tra to worldmap.tra

o, nooooo. I took a look there and decided to reinstall WMP. I unpacked it, replaced .tp2, and changed reference from setup.tra to worldmap.tra. And I've got the same error. So i gonna kill myself

The worlmap is one weird mod, I have had it install fine one time with worldmap.tra and then not install anymore after that, and with the same archive I changed it to setup.tra and it wouldnt install the first time but the second try was successful. Copying the extracted successful install from one machine to another also resulted in a failed install and then failed a second time on the successful machine.

I dont understand it

i've been working on the links over the last week - 10 days or so, and all I know is with the BG2 fixpack build, and the .tp2 i'm using I've installed and de-installed and re-installed at least 30 times, with updated tra files and links tables, and it's installed fine every time. I'm just about done with the SoA-ToB areas, and after testing all the links, will update the BGT areas and links and send it on to seanas. Hopefully will be in the next week or two, pending RL. Not too much needs changes in the BGT areas.

erebusant, what is the separate .tp2 on america.iegmc.net for? It's exactly the same as in main package except for "setup.tra" instead of "worldmap.tra". WMP is really weird. It can install or not install without any reason. Maybe its weidu issue?

I'm not sure why it's there. My understanding is it was the .tp2 for the BG2 fixpack version of the map, to replace the .tp2 that came with the main download package. When I 1st tried replacing the tp2 with it, I got the parse error because of the setup.tra reference instead of the worldmap.tra reference. I just changed the reference to worldmap, and it parsed correctly, and has always installed properly since.

the separate tp2 on iegmc is a hotfix for the worldmap for those ppl (hopefully all of us) who have the fixapck installed first, aws the fixpack makes a bunch of necessary corrections to broken travel times/ area connections, etc. however, for laughs, the hotfix is not labelled as such, so you've no way of telling what it's for, and - because the fixpack is as essential to yr install as the official patch - it should have been a v6.4 release not a hotfix....

luckily, erebusant has been working on fixing the travel times between BP family mods and the basic game (a separate issue) and so we'll be getting a new release shortly - which will be built on the assumption that you've got the fixpack installed (and woe betid anyone who doesn't have the fixpack installed - they can go play the improved anvil or something).

still i don't undrestand. I have bg2 fixpack and i succefully installed WMP without this fix, but i can't install it with fix. And the only difference between main package .tp2 and "fixed" .tp2 is reference to worldmap.tra, not to setup.tra (so what does it fix?). Lets hope we'll see next release soon)
