I am now in the city of Baldur's gate, so i figure its a good idea to doo most of the quests before i go back to candlekeep. But some quests don't seem to work.

Nadalin in the docks section doesn't tell me anything, he just says "Nice to meet you" sorta thing. I read he should tell you about the north coast.

The monk i freed that stands in Ulgoths beard wont talk to me, i read you need to have killed the demon from the dagger (i have done) and take a scroll to him (i don't have the scroll, i think i tossed it out in an ambush area T_T)

I read that you should talk to Avery to start the salamander quest, but i cant find him anywhere in the city.

The woman who wants to be a seagull just takes the potion, gives me a wand and goes in her house. I walk down a little and there is a beast who doesnt do anything, you can't force talk on him so i dont know if thats the end of the quest or not?

I cant find the elf who is supposed to give you the bow quest anywhere in larswood. I have looked before and after each chapter. He is not there.

I havent talk to the duke yet so i dont know if the notrh citadel works yet or not.

I have never run the Dark Side, but if you need that scroll back, you can CLUA it in.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOOHOO! What a Ride!

Some people are like slinkies. They are not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs!!

Ok, little update from yesterday.

I found that the key to solving most the quests was to talk to Duke eltan first. After i talked to him and went to the northern citadel, talked to Avery about the altar, he talks of the salamander island.

I went back to Baldur's gate and Nadalin finally gave me the quest to free his boat.

He takes you to the salamander island, they tell you to destroy the black hand cult

This point i got stuck for a couple of hours, i looked in my chest at the friendly arm inn, in scroll cases, seems i did throw it away T_T No fear, IESE to the rescue. Added the missing scroll to my inventory.

went back to the beard to talk with the monk who showed me the location of the cult. Killed the monks, went back to talk with the salamanders, killed off some salamanders, got the key (at this point i had 2 keys, you can steal one from Avery :) ) Went and got the symbol.

At this point i got bored looking for the mage in larswood, so i cula'd to his area (THAT TOWER IS TOO SMALL FOR ANYONE TO LIVE IN) When i talked to him to try to get the bow quest he went all "The fun has ended, time to die" After looting his stuff i opened the chest in the basement and got the key to his desk from south of bergost and found the dagger and corpse (i read its for the demons)

so i go back to the valley with the corpse for the demon, talk with him again and tell him i have the body but he says "fools" and goes hostile.... i dont mind killing them but if i wanted to, i would have killed them before i looked for the mage body..

The woman who wants to fly quest is definetly broken, after se takes the potion the fire wayen just sits below the area and does nothing, its not hostile so it it inportant?

The woman who wants to fly with seagulls.

I talked to her once, she said she wanted to fly, i talked to her again and she took the potion, gave me a wand (different to the dialog but who cares :P) and went into her house.

A little east there is now a fire wevryen with a blue circle but he does nothing, you cant talk to him so i dont know what to do.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Fire Salamanders are related to a quest BEFORE the ice salamanders. If i'm not wrong you need to kill the sirine and them so that you can speak to Nadalin in BG and he can return in that land but you've just done that so (dunnow how honestly ;) ) ... you can skip the fire salamander (the name begin which H but i dont remember the name now ;) )

Yes, the fire salamanders have to be killed off before the fisherman (Nadalin) can return to his boat. Once there, he can take you to the ice salamander island.
