Just wanted to report a bug.
When you do the Errant for Aran and tell his mother you are the new delivery boy, the conversation gets to a dead end with no valid reply links and the quest becomes uncompletable.

That's odd... never had that before! There are definitely dialogue responses (I wrote 'em in, anyway!)... bizarre. I'll have a look into it. Thanks for letting us know!

Nope never had this Bug in any of my games with Fade.

I just checked and had a save at the door of her house, so ran thru all the options, they all have links for me. So the problem must come from something else.

Its reproducible for me (although I no longer have the save).
After telling her I am the delivery boy she'd talk about gnomes and she would use her poker to deal with them. The only dialogue option then becomes "no dialogue tree" or something like that and instead of "continue" or "end dialogue" at the bottom, it would display what seems to be the actual intended dialogue reply but won't work.

I should note that I use Fade (English) on a German BG install.

Question: Are you a gnome and/or do you have Jan with you at this point cause I am not nor do I have Jan. If so then I will have to change those two things and see what happens. It also could be a conflict with the German BG of which I have no knowledge of.

Edit: I just made meself a gnome and yes it came up with the dreaded "NO VALID REPLYS OR LINKS". So there is a problem there.
Being human and with Jan things works fine for me. So it must be only if your a gnome.

Ahhhhhh - that's why no one has picked it up before - gnomes aren't the most popular of playable races!!

Obviously, gnomes do have another choice here - thanks for the heads up, we'll get it sorted!

Old Veteran I have a question for you since I have been watching these threads. I see you have the Amber mod installed because she is in your party. Do you have any other mods of any kind installed also because the problem can be a mod conflict. You might post your wediu.log because it is nice to know what other mod could be causing this conflict with Fade in your install at this point and at later points. And it helps alot to sort things out and make this compatible if possible.

OldVeteran: that's not a bad list. So you have Amber, Imoen and Fade mods as possible romances. Other question would be are you trying to run more then one romance at a time? Also did you alter any code so that you could romance all of them at once? Not a problem just wanting to narrow things down for conflicts. I ran four romances at once even with Sarelith installed got'em all to work once. Had to hunt down all the 3's.

At the time I did that quest I did not alter the original scripts. I think I did that way later (post Underdark)

I got the same thing with the errand quest as well. Where it just ended and nothing else happened. But I just moved on.
