problem with world map

sorry i find this forum a little confusing so i wasnt sure where to post this.

I have installed BGT and a few others mods in the correct order as specified in various places on this forum.

Im starting the game from scratch on BG1. After exiting the first area (after the death of gorion) on the way to the inn. the worldmap does not show the next area i should go to the only accessable areas are the watchers keep and one area of alkantha both of which crash when i select them.

Anyone know what im doing wrong ?

Unfinished buisness

BGT
DSotSC
NSotSC
Worldmap

Check that you have correct WM6-compatible versions of all mods:

TDD and SoS - v1.11
BGT - v1.04
DSotSC - v1.85 for WM6
NTotSC - v1.45 for WM6

Worldmap - WM v6.4 (or you could try the new WM6.5)

Check that you have correct WM6-compatible versions of all mods:

I had a similar problem with my install.

Removed WM6.4 and it worked fine.

Actually removed UB too.

Just ran a test with the following install with no problems. Actually did it with just the 1st component, and then again with the 2nd component.

I have the same error. I cannot reach the next area, after the region there i pickup Imoen, Montaron and Xar. I have only the worldmap and there is the Icewindale Region overlaped with something from Athakla, like Waukeens Promenade and so on. So i will add a screenshot.

I'm having a similar problem using WorldMap v6.6. CTD when trying to leave the first Area Where Gorion Dies. But after experimenting with 2 previous saves, I found that I don't need to try to leave the area to get a CTD. It happens If I try to look at the World map from within the candlekeep area or the second area.

But I always get the following error msgBox:

"An Assertion failed in InfScreeenWorldMap.cpp at line number 2120"

I'm going to try uninstalling WorldMap 6.6 and maybe try it with 6.5

I uninstalled WorldMap v6.6 and then installed WorldMap v5 and so far it's working fine now. I've been able to get to a few different areas without a problem and I can view the World Map without a ctd.

I'm curious as to what would happen with v6.5, but I think I'll leave things as they are for now.

i don't see a GUI installed, maybe this could fix your problem ?

The error is the missing component, where you choose the worldmap size. This component is a must. Without it, the worldmap picture is not extracted.

@abrasion:

The worldmap v5 is not supported any more and still has a lot of errors

i have similar problem. locations is located not corectly on the map after installing Worldmap v7.
please help...
