Wouldn't ya know it...had a sweet installation. Was even able to create new characters, choosing any class, and not get a CTD once! Then, I installed the Morituri kit, Angelo, and Virtue, in that order, and the problems returned. Since these were installed out of sequence, I've once more restored critical files (after backing up override, sounds, portraits, and characters), deleted the WeiDU Log, and am again installing each mod in what I understand to be the correct order. By the end of the night, I should be able to do some playtesting, and arrive at a stable and playable multi-mod install :)

A female elf warrior of nature and a Bhaalspawn cross paths during their quests, joining forces to share adventure and companionship. Will they find more?

Well, the redoing of everything resulted in flawless functioning, except I suspect a mod called "Jedi&Sith" is causing the problem of altering the text immediately below a character's name on the inventory screen. Also, I noticed that a character I'd previously created shows up with the Jedi class, where he should have been a different class. This mod might have altered the file that contains a list of all kits for the game in the wrong way, but I'm not sure.

I had to force-quit a test game, and after doing that, the CTD on class selection for new characters returned :( I'm hoping it was a fluke, and that I didn't compromise anything by force-quitting the game (I nearly never do that)...will check it out now.

At least I know that I'm on the right track in the order of mod installs :) All the mods I have install successfully now, but it sure does take a long time to get through 'em all *L*

Back to testing...always testing...
