To clarify for everyone - I had a little mix-up (not incompatibility) because I also have Quest Pack installed.
A quick tip: doublecrossing Edwin will prolong your ability to get past a particular part of the BTL.
Everything is smooth sailing now, though!
I'm having a slight problem here. I have the Saerileth mod installed and when initially doing the Maevar quests (before ever being approached by Kiyone) and being asked to murder Rayic by Edwin, she got pissed off and left when I killed him. So I then installed the Shadow Thief Improvements component of
QP to get around this which worked fine, though I never bothered luring Edwin to Rayic, I only tricked Edwin into thinking he was dead and left it at that.
The problem is that now I'm working on Kova's case, Rayic has no new dialogues concerning it only 3 dialogues concerning Edwin. So I decide to lure Edwin there and see if that changes anything but it doesn't. Rayic just says"leave me alone" and if you try talking again he goes hostile, and upon killing him Saerileth leaves. So I tried to pickpocket him but even with my skill being buffed up to 170 it failed every time, so naturally he goes hostile and again Saerileth leaves.
Although this isn't really a compatability issue, more of a roleplay choice between Kova's case and Saerileth's morals, it is annoying nonetheless. I had considered unistalling the
QP component but I don't really know what effect that will have on the situation. I believe spawning Rayic's evidence with the console will work fine (I think "RayNote" is the appropriate item) but then I'll miss out on any dialogue.
So is there any way to do this without killing Rayic? Thanks in advance, and I'm really enjoying the mod so far, great work.
