Here is my question: can I install BG2 and all the mods without using the BP. I intended to use BiG World instructions but just skip BG1-BGT part and BP (offcourse I would use ordinary BG2 mods, not BGT-BP versions). Also, if I can do that, do I need to replace of faulty files as is stated in the instructions or it is only for BP. Can I install Worldmap on such installation ?

Absolutely, you can install a very big modded BG2 game now without BP. Some of the BWP fixes are for the mods themselves to help compatibility, while some of the fixes are if x mod is installed with y mod, then an alternate file in BWP patches might be needed.
World map will definitely be needed as the big BG2 mods require it to travel to new areas. When you get the Worldmap6.6.1 mod, download also the consolidated patch as that was made by erebusant to fix a few things.

Well now I when I finally installed all of this the game won't run at all:
An Assertion failed in ChSound.cpp at line number 4905.
Also Iylos v1.1 won't install beacause some error at file ascension.d near text @5000.

Phew, I spent whole day (again) installing the BG2 only, without NEJ megamod and this is the third (or fourth) time I did so, and I saw nothing new, the game won't work (again). Again when I installed al of that the game show An Assertion failed in ChSound.cpp at line number 4905. Then I fix that problem and start the game, but when I click the New Game, game locks up (and in Task Menager is says Not Responding). I realy, realy do not know what am I doing wrong but I have no more strenght left to fight with it. I will have to try again tomorow.

I deleted WeiDU.log and all of the Setups. I did all by the BiG World instructions except that I used newer versions of some mods (TS v6.11, Ninafer v1.01b, Nathaniel v4, Iylos v1.1 - that I wanted to install, but I again got that error from two days ago, BG2 Tweaks v6 - but I didn't install new features), I didn't install some, and in the end I installed kits I wanted (Sword Angel from Refinements, Pit Fighter from AoE, thief and bard kits from Song and Silence, fighter kits from sword and fist, Holy Liberator from Oversight (that one is included in the BiG World instructions and was installed earlier), cleric kits from Divine Remix, and that is all.
P.S. TS ruined my Main Menu (I didn't install GUI, and some girl appeared instead SoA sign, and when I enter SoA menu it's all buggy with buttons from SoA, and background from TS). Is there any way to prevent that.

Well installing TS v6.11 with the BiG WP will cause many problems. Maybe even the one you are having now. Use TS-BP, not TS v6.11. Delete it all and start over. Don't delete your WeiDU.log Be careful amd good luck!

Thanks. Well I didn't install BP and it says it is incompatible with BP not other big mods (I didn't install BGT either), and the game worked after all the big mods, it worked when I checked it last time (after Divine Remix), but when I finished all of it, it doesn't work, so I'm pretty sure it is not because of TS, nor any mods in between TS and Divine Remix. Only problem I have with TS is because it ruins my main menu (and I don't know how to fix it, if anyone could help me I would be realy happy). I will try again today, and I hope it will finaly work.
