Hi all,

here is my new game and Weidu Log. I'm going to report here all the possible bugs i'm going to find along my game.

Note for Users: u can follow this LIST and install the mods in the same way i did if u want, i get NO error messages during the install so it should be fine. BUT U MUST SKIP ALL THE MODS U SEE WITH "modified bt mm75" or similiar ... they are mods MODIFIED BY ME so u won't find the same version around the net. Moreover PLEASE, don't ask me to give u my modified version of a Mod 'cause it's not fair versus Modders u created it. I just changed something for my convenience and i won't spread other's works around ... :cheers:

With Nithrun Fix tp2 i was able to correct ALL the corrupted resources i had in my first install (http://www.shsforums...showtopic=31411).

Stutter Bug in Nashkel: i got a stutter bug in Nashkel area. This is due to something related to JASTEYSBG1QUESTS. It starts as soon as u reach the area. I have to dig something deeper into the issue, but I'm sure it's caused by something related to that mod.

Ok ... i tried to look deeper into the issue and ... i have no clue about it :crying:

First, the stutter bug disappeared after i run into another area (example temple) and then i came back to Nashkel area. Randomly, the stutter bug happens again ... (only main Nashkel area).

My first guess WAS wrong assuming that Jastey's mods added the weakened vampire to that area, but it is not the case after i dig into the mods.

That creature is coming from BG2 Herbs mod by Baronius ... now ... how the cre was added to that area is a mistery to me. I checked all bcs files in my game and none is pointing to that cre (bw02cre4.cre) which is actually added in Nashkel area near Minsc encounter. I guess now the stutter should come from this, weird indeed!

I've also contacted Baronius to check what could have caused this issue...

I have BW Herbs and Potions installed in mine and I had no problems with slowdowns of any kind. Could something have changed it in your install?

Not sure how these work myself as I have not tried these codes but the second one may have changed the Weaker Vampire Essence.

When you enter that area, there should be a guy in anguish by the bridge who is turning into a vampire. "Poof", he dies and the Vampire essence spawns (or maybe is already there). Same thing for the BG2 mod of the same name.
What happens if you just control+y that thing? Does the slowdown stop? Otherwise I have no idea :huh:

Thanks Hoppy! Actually i cannot see the "vampire transformation" 'cause it's too far away from the very start of the bridge where i come from. It could be Nithrum fixes changed something, i will look into it.

Other bug: i know someone have reported here before. Improved Kobolds have a poisoned dagger, the item has NO BAM. The same happens for poisoned arrows a Kobold archer has in Nashkel Mines.

I had that in my recent megamod too and Altomar pointed out that SCS had a BAM with an underscore in front of it. It is fixable with DLTCEP and proven at G3 forums under SCS and search for <kobold>. I just created my own BAMS from the DLTCEP editor. FUTURE MODDER IN PROGRESS!! :devil:

I think you will see more of those Kobold Guards beyond Nashkell , but the poison arrows was the only time I saw that item with them in Nashkel mines.

there is option 1 or 2 in the dialog. Either way, he dies and you loot his body for herbs before you even cross the bridge. Are you getting that dialog?

Oh yeah, i got it without any issue, but please consider that the guy is NOT bw02cre4.cre which comes ONLY from BG2 Herbs Mod ...

@Hoppy: i didn't install other BG2 big mods mainly for 2 reasons:
1) Too bugs and some incompatibilities with my install
2) I don't know the BG2 part of the game (and Mods) as the BG1 one. So i know everything about BG1 and i can install everything and if i have issues i can discover them. For the BG2 part i need to be more confortable there, so i start with SoS and some minors, but i leave the others (which i don't like or are incompatible/too buggy moreover :-)

Ooops, I installed both too. I just thought they were both the same mod in content with a BG1 install and a BG2 install, but I just realised that they aren't compatible besides the vampire guy.

@Hoppy: i didn't install other BG2 big mods mainly for 2 reasons:
1) Too bugs and some incompatibilities with my install
2) I don't know the BG2 part of the game (and Mods) as the BG1 one. So i know everything about BG1 and i can install everything and if i have issues i can discover them. Yep i have NO environmental audio option available in my game ... EDIT: but u meant i guess the ambient sound in config, file ... correct? :-P

EDIT after i realize i'm a stupid: :cheers: THE STUTTER DISAPPEARED (everywhere) AFTER I DISABLED ALL AMBIENT SOUNDs FROM BG2'S CONFIGURATION FILE

Bug: not sure what mod could cause it. I noticed that the GREASE spell, if it affects a NPC, he/she immediately becomes hostile! I tried and experienced it in the area north of Gnoll Stronghold where the paladin asks you to help him from a gibbering horde. If i cast the grease spell and the paladin remains affected by it she turns immediately hostile,

Update with some (critical bugs):

- Sirine & Pirates Quest (Sirinescall): CTD when trying to join Sirine's cause and being attacked by "old man" and his pirates. It seems Nithrum fixes did change something wrong within j#pirat4.cre. U need to drop that file to override folder from Sirinescall folder (thanks to Erebusant!)

- Jaheira Quest from BG1 NPC Project. I'm still not sure what the cause could be (my gut feeling is Level 1 NPC mod or something related to the kit i've assigned to Jaheira: Improved BeastMaster Mod). The Quest never starts because Jaheira has been assigned a different script, the correct one is BGJahei.bcs.

Now, after Jaheira's quest, i'm suffering of another Stutter Bug in the Wyvern area ... i still have to test and see if that's the only area or now it's a permanent stutter bug just after Jaheira's quest has been completed.

mm75, check on Coran and his Wyverns, especially X#CoranWyvernDisabled vs other things - perhaps on the mega there are several mods trying to fix Coran's discussion about the wyverns and clashing script-wise. I am sure both UB and BG1NPC do, and usually it isn't a problem, but who knows on a Mega. Things can get complicated fast!

A quick way to check this is to CLUA in a wyvern head, and see if something fires off or the stuttering stops...
