I'm on the Banshee quest, reached the area with the Banshee, talked to her, killed her.... But when I try to go back, all the areas are "unreachable". Is there something I need to do to go back, or is it something else?

I believe thats a map problem Erebusant is working on. Yes it happened to me too, but you can clua back to the first DSotSC forest map and continue from there.

That is a problem with the travel links from the DSotSC/Worldmap that occurs when you install the "Original" travel times component of Worldmap. The problem's been resolved for over a year now by installing the "Revised" Travel Times component of worldmap.

Hi erebusant,

have you plan to fix the "Original" travel times in the Worldmap?

Greetings Leomar

I have a problem with DSofSC (or the WorldMap) as described above but it is The Wood of Sharp Teeth , this is only new area I can see after Jetlaya joins up and reads Desination Unreachable.
I am using Latest version 2.00 of DSofSC and version 7 of world map. I chose Original Travel Times when installing the World Map, could this also be the reason for my error?
If so can I change to Revised Times without it messing up my Save Game, I really dont fancy starting a new game.
cheers

You haven't travelled to Peldvale yet, correct?

I have traveled to Peldvale and tried the location described in the Walkthrough X5020 etc but no joy, I also tried from Baslisk Monument and East Wood.
If I knew the AREA code I could warp there with the console.

Thanks for pointing this out. It'll be fixed for v2.05 DSotSC upcoming in a day or two. Meantime, uninstall your mods in reverse order back thru Worldmap, then open your Worldmap/map_mods_links.tbl and scroll down to the point where you see:

//DSotSC Area Links Table

SRC_AREA SRC_NWSE TARGET_ARE ENTRY_NAME TRV_TIME DEF_ENTRY ENC1 ENC2 ENC3 ENC4 ENC5 ENC_PROB

DSC001 N AR8700 EXIT8900 4 1 AR4701 AR4801 AR5301 AR4901 AR5300 10

and make it look like this:

//DSotSC Area Links Table

SRC_AREA SRC_NWSE TARGET_ARE ENTRY_NAME TRV_TIME DEF_ENTRY ENC1 ENC2 ENC3 ENC4 ENC5 ENC_PROB

AR8900 E DSC001 Exit8900 3 8 AR5300 AR5301 N N N 30

DSC001 N AR8700 EXIT8900 4 1 AR4701 AR4801 AR5301 AR4901 AR5300 10

then close and save the Worldmap/map_mods_links.tbl file and re-install the Worldmap (be sure to rename your BP-BGT_Worldmap/dialog.wm6 file to dialog.tlk and cut and paste it into your main game directory overwriting the existing dialog.tlk before you re-install the worldmap though. This will ensure nothing gets hosed with your dialog.tlk file as long as you re-install your mods in the exact order and manner that you first installed them) using the saved game convertor option, followed by the same mods you had installed previously and your travel should work fine. Sorry.
